Called ahead they said it was valid took down the persons name as a verification she stated she was an assistant manager. Get to Applebee’s it’s not busy, took 20 minutes to get seated. Go to order and the waiter said they are not valid around this time. Informed her we spoke to the manager over the phone earlier and asked to speak to her. Our waiter huffs and puffs saying there is no need to speak to her since the drinks are not available. Get up talk to the bartender whom says she will have the assistant manager I spoke to go over to our table. Another 20 minutes go by. By this time the assistant manager does confirm they are available and the waiter was new….after almost a wasted 45 minutes we left and did not order nor plan to go back.

Had the margarita. It was small, very watered down and nearly tasteless. They make them in huge drums early in the day. I wager the Dos Equis beer will be very small also.

I went last month when they first started, as Russian mentioned the wait staff is horrible, we had to wait a long time just for the $1 margaritas and we asked do they not onlinee with the salt and they said no, so I go to drink it was like drinking Kool aid, so that was the only one ordered and then we still had to wait on the appetizers, I never liked going to Applebees but my niece wanted to go so we did, I don’t plan on going back and I would not waste $1 for the drink

Tried the Margaritas last year. Agreed, they are just sugar water. Will never make that mistake again.

They are $1.00. If y’all are expecting a top shelf drink, you’re in for a huge let down. But if you drink enough, the taste does t really matter. Always remember, you get what you pay for!
