   Why would anyone want a rechargeable lighter? Regular lighters are portable… I am confused

  I love mine. I have this exact one and it works great. I use it to light candles and love the flexible lighting tip.

  First of all, it recharges via USB, and a single charge works for quite some time. So the lighter is still portable, but it’s not disposable. It’s much more environmentally friendly and cost effective.

  Second, it’s more reliable. I’ve had several Zippo candle lighters that consistently stop working after a year or two despite following the instructions for refills. This one lights up every time, without having to buy (or smell) more lighter fluid, etc.

  Because instead of continuously purchasing lighters you have one you can use over and over? Try being less wasteful
