My son who is almost 5 wants an Alexa so he can ask her all kinds of Dino questions. Would love to hear from someone who has one or the dot on what they think about them.

ETA my kids are 7.5 and 9 yrs old.

We love ours. My boys are 5 and 8. They set their own alarm, check the weather so they know what to wear, play music and do silly dances, set the timer for certain activities, etc.

I have alexa in the living room and insignia speakers with google assistant in the kids rooms (from the best buy deal I found here late last year). I found that for random inquiries and searching for info/facts, the google speaker is better. It gives me an answer when alexa will simply say “sorry, I don’t know that”.

I second what AP says.. a lot of things my 5yr old asks alexa result in the “Sorry, I don’t Know that” although she has gotten better at searching for stuff.

Ok. Now I’m waiting for my Google home to do this…
