    Anybody try these?
    Looking for reviews on them
    Thanks

  2. Amy

How could this possibly be a good idea?

    • Jennifer

How could it not! I just picked up a bag in each color. I have two nine year olds…we have a long summer break sneaking up on us. These look like fun for both the kids and us parents.

      • Krista Thomas

I’m sending them to Grandma’s house for Spring Break!

        • Jennifer

Grandma is moving in with us in a few weeks….I’ll be arming her too:)

  3. Sue

I’m guessing these are for outside. What if someone over throws, it hits the house? Car? Deck patio furniture? one excited kid lets lose in the house? Who wants to do all the extra laundry? Then the clean up mess in the bathroom? Residue getting on the floor when they take the dirty clothes off? Stuff getting on the hamper? I have 5 kids this just screams nightmare! Water guns seem so much safer. Water is just water. Plus throwing stuff at people? What if it gets into the eyes? I hope everyone wears goggles.

    • Lorraine

You’ve got to be a lot of fun at a party. It’s WASHABLE. That means it washes off stuff. If your kid would possibly start whipping them around the house then don’t hand them the bag when they are inside the house. Wait until you get outside. Kids play with them and then can hose off outside. Have them play in their bathing suits. You can visualize this paintball throwing happening inside your house as your kids are all in their dressiest clothes and paintballs hitting the walls and china cabinet or think realistically that this is an outdoor toy and they can clean up outside before these things have a chance of ruining anything in your house.

I totally see your point of view. I canโ€™t tell you how many times I have purchased things that are โ€œwashableโ€ and they end up permanently staining their clothes๐Ÿ˜ก. I would say have them wear some old play clothes. I have 3 kiddos and they have hand me downs from each other and I usually keep one play outfit that I just donโ€™t mind getting stained because I will throw it away once they out grow it. Have them hose each other before going back inside and throw their clothes into the washer, not the laundry basket, when they go in. They grow so fast and I keep telling myself (and this helps) that I will regret these moments once they outgrow them. Take pictures, it will be fun to look at them 10 years from now ๐Ÿ˜Š

    • A

Iโ€™m with you on this one. Iโ€™m all for outdoor fun but I totally have enough laundry pain already, lol. My kids are the ones who would tuck one in their pocket and then sit on the couch. I can see so many ways of this giving me grief ๐Ÿ˜‚

    • Jennifer

I agree with you, Sue! There are so many other ways to have fun…why create more work and headaches for yourself? If someone wants the mess, more power to them but this would be one of the last things that I would purchase for my crazy boys. It would be the gift that kept giving at my house…lol!

  4. Jay

Just an idea: Buy a canvas and have the family throw these at it (outside ofcourse.) Would make a cute family art piece for kids room or playroom etc.

    • Jennifer

I looked into these….that would likely not be a good idea… the outer membrane is made of seaweed. Rest is also plant based and ingredients vegan friendly…it will deonlinepose…

  5. Heather

Totally gettin some of these! I can’t wait to play w/ the kids with them. Sometimes as mom, ya just gotta let loose!

  6. Amberd68

I have no kids…but I’m getting the guns and the goblies made for the guns for a Easter present for my husband and I…I just hope it doesn’t rain! LOL

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

LOL! That sounds like a ton of fun!

  7. sarah

I bought these, along with some white T shirts for $2 last week, for my husband’s 40th birthday next month! Tie dye paintball party? Me thinks so, yes.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

What a neat idea Sarah! Happy 40th to your husband! Hope you have a blast!

  8. Mamamia

These are like paint balling for children. You wear solid tees and attack each other. Great idea for a birthday or bbq party. Of course it would need to be done outside on a nice day. Or let them attack each other while in bathing suits then go swimming right after. The “guns” for these are $3 and the tees ate sold near also 3/$10 this week. (But dollar tree sells solid tees too!)

  9. debbie

Does Michaels have the option to buy online and pickup in store?

    • Erin

I donโ€™t believe they do. ๐Ÿ™ I tried to do this a few days ago but in store pick up wasnโ€™t an option. This is a GREAT price though. I paid $5 per bag just a few days ago!

      • Katie

        So did I! ๐Ÿ™

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi Debbie! Michael’s does offer Free In Store Pick Up on select items if available at your store, however I don’t find that these qualify.

  10. Shantel

Just bought these last week for our family pictures this summer. Open field with white T-shirts/jeans and a photographer capturing it all. Perfect!

    • Courtney

That’s exactly what I plan on doing ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

WOW! Super cool picture idea! Thanks for sharing!

  11. couponer

These seem fun and I’m grown. Wear old clothes and just let loose outside.

    • Rochelle

Agreed. Too many fuddy-duddies. Kids can make anything into a weapon of mass destruction, so I donโ€™t see this as being particularly risky ๐Ÿ˜

    • iamkris10

agreed! I got enough for us each to have a color and have at it! ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Krismwc

Also a genius trick I learned from a co-worker for any kind of paint… Turn clothes inside out.

  13. Melanie

Thanks I bought two to try out for a party!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welonlinee Melanie!

  14. shana

These are the best! I bought 10 bags when they were more expensive and it was worth every penny. They are washable and I’ve had no problem getting the paint out of clothing with just water. The only downfall is, I need more colors.

  15. Ashley

These look like so much fun! I really donโ€™t understand why so many people are onlineplaining about having to do the laundry after this. Are you not going to wash your kids clothes anyway? To each their own, but you only live once and for me these experiences are so worth the little bit of โ€œmessโ€.

  16. Julie

Tried these out with 2 teens. First I reonlinemend White shirts because if you wear dark colors you cant see any colors too well on anyone wearing a colored shirt, it just looks like a wet spot. You have to throw at a certain speed or they just bounce off your target and burst on the ground. Not worth running around and chasing anyone as they are small and hard to hit a moving target. We had fun standing still and figuring out what speed and force needed to connect to burst the paint. It has the consistently of jello pudding when it bursts on skin or clothing,.It feels slightly sticky on skin as it starts drying but feels wet on your clothes. It wasn’t hot enough outside for them to dry to powder. My older teens and myself had fun going through 2 bags each. Each bag is still half full of fluid once you go thru all the paint balls. I would reonlinemend buying the guns so you don’t have to waste all of the colored liquid. I got several welts that were visible for less than a minute then disappeared, My teens had no marks. We washed our various colored clothing and one white shirt in same load and followed washing instructions and the color came off everything, including the white shirt. We hit various structures and outdoor items in our pandemonium, including our trees, walls, bbq and paint washed off of everything with a hose. If my kids were still toddlers, I would give this to them and play with them in a heartbeat,

Well worth the price and while the fun was short lived, I would still reonlinemend this to anyone, kids , teens or adults. We have multiple allergies and had no reactions. One of my teens was hit in the mouth and eyes and said while the taste is unpleasant, it did not burn or have chemical taste it just tasted gross. (what do you expect, plant based paint and ,seaweed based coating)
