We bought this trash can and love it. We use it for an indoor trash can since we have so many children. I do have one reonlinemendation though. We had to cut up a cardboard box to put around the inside because every time we pull the trash bag out it would rip the trash bag. Once we put the cardboard inside of the trash can we no longer had those issues

That’s great that it worked so well for you guys! Thanks for the feedback!

    • Belinda

Just wanted to agree with this tip. We also use it indoors and it keeps the dog out. The cardboard inside is a must.

We bought this last year and love it! It even survived a Wisconsin winter!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh awesome! I love it when outdoor items can withstand the weather! Thanks for sharing Maxine!

We bought the taupe one last year too, Iโ€™ve been using it to collect cans and plastic bottles to recycle on my back deck ๐Ÿ˜†

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Sweet! Thanks for sharing how you have used yours! I should do the same. I have a separate recycle bin in my kitchen that I would love to move outside!

  4. HipMomof3

    Yay! Got it this time.

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Sweet! So glad you were able to score one!

    Got it.!

I bought this last year to keep outside, but every time it rains it gets water in it! Anyone have ideas to waterproof it?

    • MonkeyMa

Drainage holes. Let the moisture evaporate. Trying to water proof this one probably wonโ€™t turn out too well- if any moisture remains inside =moldy mess.

  7. Caroline

I got one of these the last time it was posted too. Just make sure you read the instructions. We put ours together wrong and there is no getting it back apart. They are strong, but onlinepletely racoon proof ๐Ÿ™‚

    What an attractive garbage can!
