FYI the $1 off 1 Maybelline eye product beeps at the register for the single eye shadow product even though the coupon doesn’t say it’s excluded.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for the warning Raquel! Good to know how it has worked for you at checkout!

I had this happen to me too so I called CVS corporate and asked. I noticed that the CVS coupon had a MFC on it which usually means “manufacturer’s coupon”. I was told that any kiosk coupons with MFC on are not true CVS store coupons. If you try to onlinebine it with another manufacturer’s coupon and it goes over the price of the item it will beep. The cashiers aren’t supposed to take it but some do.

      • Mel R.

That is incorrect. If the cvs q that has MFR on it were a manuf coupon, then it could be used anywhere. but it is coded to only be redeemed through CVS registers, therefore it IS a CVS Store coupon. Most states charge tax pre-coupon, so those cvs offers (and EB’s) that are MFR, means it’s sponsored by the manuf (either a deal was made prior to offer the coupon, or the store will be reimbursed after redemption) and you’re taxed accordingly. Any true store coupon, is an offer that is onlineing directly from CVS, and will reduce how tax is charged.
        Example –
I have a $20 purchase. I use a crt that is $2 off Garnier, says MFR. I am charged tax on $20. If that Garnier didn’t say MFR, then it’s likely a CVS coupon offer and I’ll be taxed on $18 instead.
If a manuf coupon beeps, it’s b/c it’s not coded correctly. It has nothing to do with it being stacked with a crt. At my store, the cashiers will will override a beeping coupon as long as everything matches. They will not take a beeping IP, but if it’s a CVS IP from their web-site, they were told they have to take it.

My CVS refuses to accept any coupons printed at home. They say that the store does not get relmbursed for them.

    • Kris

Remind them that they host them right on their own website!

  3. Paola

My coupon beeped as well, but my cashier was really nice, she just carefully read the coupon and since it did not excluded the singles she just put it in manually

  4. Breadmaker

Bath and Body Works $6 select body care plus free shipping on a $25+ order ends tonight.

    • Breadmaker

  5. Myrah

Does everyone get the $2 off Maybelline? I didn’t get one. 🙁

    • Aiman

      I didn’t get it too…

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh darn! Be sure to check your local ad, as the $2 offer from the coupon machine should be advertised. Hope that helps!

      • Myrah

Oh, it’s advertised? My ad does NOT say that so I guess that is regional. On a bright side, I am finally getting CVS emails again. I did get $5 off $25, 20% off AND $2 off any health care. It’s been like 3 years since I’ve gotten coupons from them.

        • Mel R.

Are you sure? Its on the front page of my ad with the Maybelline/Loreal eb deal. says ‘PLUS Visit the Extracare coupon center to get your Mystery Offer.’
Unless they’re starting back up with regional test ads again? I sure hope not. I hated the short ads!!

  6. Katie

Awesome!!! I have extra bucks to use so even better! Thanks for sharing!!

  7. Kim

Try scanning your card again at the red machine and maybe you will get the L’Oréal/maybelline coupon

  8. loretta

I don’t find an eye coupon. Only lip and face. Maybe it’s gone???

  9. Marisa

I bought two eye shadows. Mine were priced $3.99, I used the CVS $2 off and then used the MFR coupon and it beeped, so the cashier wouldn’t take it. She said that since it beeped and that since it has a mascara on the coupons.online coupon, that they can’t take it. She said the eye shadow was excluded, even though eye shadow is an eye product. So with the ECB’s, I paid $0.98 for two eye shadows, which I needed anyways, so good price for me.

  10. Mya

Cashier didn’t accept my printab coupon but it is 50 cents each for single eyeshadow
