  We love this toy; have you tried flipping the yellow part up? It beeps when it is down “detecting” but you jut flip it up and it stops. My three boys adore it and spend hours outside treasure hunting with it!

  We love this toy! It’s not meant for inside play, as it would beep every time it found a carpet nail, etc. the kids hide change in the sandbox or take it out to grandpas farm. We actually dug up a 100 plus year old horse shoe!
