Does anyone homeschool? I’m considering it. These look like they could be good to help supplement education.

    • Susan

I do! And we love it! Not sure the ages you’ll be teaching, but I loved the history pockets when my boys were younger. πŸ™‚

    • Yelik01

We are just starting but they look helpful. I wish they had the K on sale. But I found a few other things i could use the coupon on. Great deal!

I have been homeschooling for 13 years now and we have used LOTS of Evan Moor stuff. We loved the History pockets when my kiddos were younger too like Susan mentioned. I also like their Daily practice books like Daily Geography, Daily Punctuation, Daily math, etc which are great for extra practice! Their maps books are great and..well I’ll stop, but I do reonlinemend them. πŸ™‚

This is our 7th year of homeschooling and I use lots of Evan Moor stuff. I’m a big fan of buying PDF versions of their work books. That way I can use them for years with multiple kids. πŸ™‚

I do and I just ordered them. They look good to me.

  3. Christy

I’ve been homeschooling for 9 years and I use Evan-Moor almost exclusively. They are wonderful and onlineprehensive books that require no lesson planning, a homeschool mom’s dream!!

After applying val10 I have shipping to pay starting 5.99. May I eliminate shipping somehow? How many times can I use the coupon?

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I’m not sure of the limit on use, but you can get free shipping if you buy $35 in products. There’s also no shipping if you purchase an e-book as they are downloaded and printed.

  5. Beccat

We homeschool and I have been shopping for next years curriculum. Perfect timing! Thanks πŸ™‚

  7. Cassandra

I’ve been looking into homeschooling. Would anyone be kind enough to let me know where to start? Is there a website that you use? Thank you in advance! These books look like a good place to start too.

  8. Amy

I wish I could home school my kids. I have the hardest time getting mine to do anything I ask. I taught the oldest two to read at the age of 4. I’m not sure how to get my kids to be self motivated to learn. They think it is play time all the time. Are boys usually not into drawing, reading and writing? My boys are not a fan of school work.

    • v

I am a mother of boys and they were never into drawing or coloring. The best you can do is keep things fun. Be creative! My boys love nonfiction, so we are currently reading about all the places we are going to visit on vacation. Then of course, we have to look it up on a map and write down things we would like to do. Look at that, a little extra practice and they didn’t even know it. Hee hee hee I may even have them figure mileage and create a budget. Look at that, now we have a little real world math.

    • AMBER

Hi Amy! What did you use to teach them to read at 4? I don’t even know where to start πŸ™ˆ

  9. Jodi Knaak

I also homeschool, I am always looking for a deal on books, thanks!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Perfect! You’re so welonlinee! πŸ™‚

I noticed that it deducted the promotion on an item that was 9.99. You dont get any type of credit for the one penny, but it leaves only the shipping cost.
