Yes some can be used in separate transactions. Free item coupons are one per customer (printed on the back), but you can use the free one another day.

They actually let me use them (and get both free items) with two transactions. The cashier was super nice about it.

1st transaction:

– 20% off
– $11 3 wick candle

2nd transaction;

Can I use the 20% off coupon I got in thr mail in conjunction with the $10 off 30? Or is it 1 coupon per transaction?

It’s up to your individual stores. Some stores let you stack coupons when they onlinee from different sources. If the 20% was from a mailer and the $10 off $20 was from another mail, then usually yes. However, online you can only use one code at a time.
