   I’ve owned my over 10 years and love it.They last a long time with no problems if you take care of them.I use it several times a week.

   Mine sucks too, but you learn how to work it. You learn what it can and cannot do. This is best for people like me and my husband that rarely toast or warm anything. I think that’s why it’s held up since we got 2-3yrs ago. Yes it can catch on fire, but you quickly realize that’s if something touches the hit rod at the top. It’s also small so more like a 2-3 slice oven. I will eventually upgrade when I can find an affordable one that looks like it to match my other appliances.
