  Try taking a screen shot of the coupon at home so it will be in your pictures. This happened to me a couple of times too.

  I find if it’s not working it’s because I haven’t signed into the wifi, but my phone thinks it’s connected. So turn off WiFi or connect to the McDonald’s wifi.

   OMG…we have saved so much with this app. (Yes..LOL…We go through often) For close to a month we used a free drink with purchase a couple of times a day! I would run get a $1 Cheeseburger and an ice tea daily and dear husband would get his breakfast sandwich and free tea in the mornings.

   Used to get great offers every week. Then I stopped getting any offers at all. Wouldn’t work half the time and the employees would never know what to do if it wouldn’t scan properly. Deleted it…BUT this is good news for my diet!

   I stopped going to McDonalds onlinepletely due to the app being a non working waste of time and the nasty attitude from employees when I wanted to use it. Not down talking the posting….give it a try but don’t think its you when things work as hit or miss at best. Also read the app reviews.

   Mine works all the time and when it does not scan, the cashier is able to manually enter the code with no problem. They have gotten annoyed when I do separate transactions to use more than one coupon though. 😐

   I’ve used it several times to get a free happy meal with value meal purchase. I’ve never had an issues at all with either the app or the employees being upset. Super easy to pull up while I’m in the drive thru lane!! Def a money saver!

  I like the Chick-fil-a app. Every time you make a purchase, scan your phone and after a set amount of purchases you get a free item. No deals but I still enjoy a splurge every once in a while, especially when you get rewarded.

  I love the Chick-fil-A app to! This past holiday week at Christmas time there was an offer loaded to my card every single day for something free! Everything from free drinks, shakes, or full-size sandwiches. They are very generous.

    If the app is not working just tell the workers what your offer was. They will help you and give you the offer. They have done this for me.

    Hmm, we eat there more than I will ever admit, and use it every time we go. I’ve literally never had an issue and have used it in multiple locations (even in multiple states) without a problem. I’ve had it many many months now.

    I had the app but deleted it after a few months. I tried it at several locations and most of the employees seemed bothered that I used it. Some locations turned me away because they don’t accept coupons from the app and more frequently, the barcode wouldn’t scan. I just stick to the survey/code for the free burger on the back of the receipt when I go to McDonald’s now.

    I have tried to use this on several occasions and it never works!!! I had my app loading from my work to the McDonalds by my house (30 min) and it still didn’t work when I got there 🙁

    I have been using the app for about a year now. The offers were way better in Colorado than my current location. The most frequent offer is buy a breakfast sandwich get a specialty coffee drink for free. I don’t eat McDonald’s as much, so I am not mad.

    The app only works if I turn on my location. The deals were great at the beginning. Now I just get their Dollar Menu.

    When I initially got the app I don’t think it was very active in my area. I tried it again once it was more advertised and haven’t had any problems! Unfortunately, between work and sports we go there way too often but it’s nice to be able to save a few dollars. I did have a BOGO happy meal offer for weeks and my youngest 2 loved it!

    My app works great! Never had a problem. I’m Pittsburgh area so we get free offers when local sports teams win. I have done multiple orders, three people/three phones and also used in the drive thru.

    This app used to work for me, but now it never does. & it seems when it does, the only offers I get are ones that I have to use the mobile pay option on.

    The McDonald’s receipts in my area offer a free quarter pounder or egg mcmuffin at your next visit when you do the online survey. Worth it!

    I use it all the time, but large coffee before work for $1 after I buy 5 I get to treat my kids to either a large frappe or pineapple mango smoothly free.

    Looooove this app. My kids love McDonalds smoothies and I almost always have a BOGO on any McCafe item, which includes smoothies & shakes in addition to coffee drinks!

    If your cashier is having trouble scanning the code, try turning your brightness all the way up. It helps the scanner recognize the code. Also works with other apps or mobile coupons that have barcodes to scan (cartwheel, B&BW)

    Love this app! I got a free big mac meal just for downloading the app i have two toddlers “that age”. So I enjoy the BOGO happy meals( buy one get one free).

    Love McDonald’s!!! And I use to love the app,!! Used it for a year without any problems and got so much free. But since about last summer the app has had soo many issues and wouldn’t work half the time. So I uninstalled it in October, hoping to try it again soon and see if it will work again. I’ve been having McDonald’s withdraws the past two months Lol, stopped going their when I deleted the app. Drooling over their fries now 😉
