    For what it’s worth, don’t count on actually receiving these in usable shape. I’ve ordered 2 sets from Kohl’s this year (an original order & a replacement). Both times I received a box full of broken glass, then had the hassle of trying to get them credited back. They do not package these properly

    I bought 6 two weeks ago, bogo and then I was lucky to get a 40%. I got them on Wednesday and 3 of them were broke…the rims shattered, candle wax in the box. Hopefully your packaging will be better than mine was. Kohl’s customer service online offered no assistance but I took them into my local store and they were replaced with no issue.

    I ordered two a few weeks ago and one was broken. No padding or air bags in the box, can you believe it! Do a pickup at the store
    if you can.

    I ordered the last time with Kohl’s one came broke the other package says it was not accepted by shipping .

    I bought 6 a couple of weeks ago. One box of 3 arrived in perfect condition. All 3 of the other ones arrived onlinepletely smashed to bits. I will be picking up in store from now on. I have never had a problem in years past, but something seems wrong this year based on all the onlinements.

    Interesting story…I received a candle broken with NO broken glass in the sealed box! The candle was only half covered in jagged glass–which means it was packaged that way! They did redeem themselves with my next candle order–I received 4 well bubble-wrapped and unscathed. Pretty much bad luck with anything delicate/glass shipped from them in the past, but I suspect they’ll start packing better…the returning/replacing of broken items has got to be costing them tons!

    Thanks to all the readers who onlinemented about this! I did not buy candles from Kohls because I found a better online deal elsewhere. I probably would not have thought about breakage if I hadn’t read the onlinements, so I opened the box and one of my jar candles was broken, something that’s never happened to me before. (And they were very well wrapped individually in bubble wrap.) Luckily, I checked and received an unbroken replacement within a couple days!

    I ordered wine glasses from Kohl’s and they were sent in a BAG, and shattered! I refused the package as advised by the delivery person. What a waste of money for the onlinepany and great products. They seem to delivery glass products in bags instead of boxes. Disappointing!!

    off topic, does anyone know how long it takes to receive a kohls merchandise credit in the mail? I returned some things i bought online thru mail and have not received back my merchandise credit, which is what I used to pay for my purchase. TIA.

      It shouldn’t take but a few days after they receive your stuff. Check the tracking # you used to ship it back and if it’s been s few days since they received then give them s call

        I have been calling and emailing them and they said they received my stuff back but the merchandise credit could take 7 to 10 days. Its been past 10 days. I will give them a call again, thank you.

    I ordered 4 candles when they were buy one get one free. They came in a huge box with no type of bubble wrap or anything. 2 were onlinepletely smashed and 2 were fine. I wish I would have just picked up in store since I had to go there anyways and exchange them!

    I ordered 2 candles from Kohl’s November 26th. They shipped UPS the 28th and were supposed to be transferred to our local post office on the 2nd, then the tracking stopped. Called UPS today, and the package is “lost”. From these onlinements, I’m wondering if it didn’t just get smashed to bits. Not looking forward to dealing with a claims process, plus if Kohl’s eventually reimburses me, it will mess up my Kohl’s cash for that purchase plus I’ll miss out on the great price I originally ordered the candles for…

    Ordered 3 different times and all 3 times, the top of candles were delivered shattered. Yankee candle is not what it used to be. They are not strong anymore at all 🙁 such a waste of money.

    Wow! I just read through all of the onlinements here, and 95% of them you are all saying that your candles were shattered when you received them. What a joke! Clearly there is a major issue here and I will not be purchasing any, thank you for all of your feedback.

    I’ve had the broken candle experience too from Kohl’s and I’ve sometimes happen to have them shipped properly and none broken. So For $9.80 for a large jar candle price, I’m willing to play the odds! LOL!! And I’m lucky to have a store not too far away if I need to return broken candles, I don’t mind. I ordered 4 anyway. Even if one isn’t broken, it’s a great price for Yankee! May the odds ever be in your favor!

    I purchased 4 of the candles during the last sale. I received 3 in a box with one broken. Same as others have said they were packaged with no bubble wrap, etc. I called customer service and it was extremely frustrating. After another call and chat online I finally received a credit over a week later. I have always liked shopping at kohls but this last order was very disappointing.

    Same experience with shattered glass on three out of four Yankee Candles ordered online. What little wrap (with huge air pockets) there was had apparently been punctured by the shards of glass, and there was no bubble wrap at all surrounding the candles. Disappointing.
    Went to Kohl’s in person to return and re-order, and two replacements arrived a week later, each wrapped individually with bubble wrap and well packed. Maybe they got the message?

    I have had trouble this year with things Ive received from Kohls, not candles, but. e.g. I purchased a nice necklace and it arrived in a sandwich baggie, yes the one with the blue zipper lol and it was tangled and crushed, also a string of pearls that were actually moldy and damaged. Im going to take a break from Kohls online shopping for the holidays.
