  I haven’t had any issues with dark armpits with this brand. I also researched natural deodorant before switching and learned you will have better success (won’t be smelly with natural) if you detox your armpits before using it. Not sure if that’s where some of the darkness onlinees from (if you don’t detox). I got benonite clay from Amazon and use it about once a month and it’s been great switching!!

  No, it won’t make them dark. I don’t detox my underarms and have been using this brand for 8-10 years.

  Karen, I currently use the unscented Tom’s. I did not notice any difference onlinepared to the Dove I have been using for probably 15+ years. It must have taken about a month for whatever additive to rid my system. One day I did not shower (keeping it honest) and played the Wii with my kids. I stunk up the entire family room! Since then, I have not had any issues but do know you have to shower daily to maintain the effectiveness. After that incident, my husband did suggest I try a scented version. 😂

  I think if she’s starting off (& doesn’t have the aluminum in her armpits/system yet) then she will be ok. The detox is (mostly) to remove the minerals in your system.
  Oh I forgot about the Apple cider vinegar mixture I made (after researching and watching YouTube videos) to kill the germs that cause the odor. Look into that as well. Really helps!

  I use the Tom’s Wicked Cool for teen girls (I’m 45 :O). It’s a deodorantis free of aluminum, parabens, and artificial fragrances. I love the smell of it and most of the time it works pretty well for me.

  Works great for 8-10 years now and I only use natural soaps with shower / bath! I prefer the apricot smell.

   This deal is making me (FINALLY) download the Ibotta app!!!! (I’ve been a huge couponer/deal finder for years!!!! (Before it became all the rage) and somehow haven’t gotten it yet but I am now!!!) I’m tired of missing out on tons of money through that app!!
   My son and I use this deodorant so I need this deal!!!! Love that I switched to a healthier deodorant!!! And starting my son off with natural!

  Good for you! I’m not a heavy couponer, I usually only get what we regularly need (which is mostly diapers and toiletries) but I still have been able to earn enough for 4-5 gift cards in a year which I use on Amazon purchases. 🙂

   Would love to try, but it seems like such an unguaranteed process: cleaning with apple cider vinegar, possible dark spots, still smelling, etc.
