   Has anyone used this site for subscriptions is the past? My concern for signing up is often using sights like this I get tons of additional kink mail. I don’t want to send a gift and burden the person with kink mail too. Any have insights?

  Hey Laura – was hoping for an opinion from someone who received this. Do you think it’s worth getting if your trying to avoid gluten? We don’t have any reactions but are trying to increase our gluten free meals. I’ve heard great things about this magazine but wondered if it’d be a good fit for our family. Thanks for your help!

  Cooks Illustrated is not a GF magazine, if that’s what you’re asking. Will you be able to find GF recipes in it? Sure. But know that there aren’t a ton of recipes in each issue, so you’ll have to pick and choose what works for you. I’m a foodie, and for me it’s more about the science behind the recipes than the recipes themselves, since they tend to be impractical for quick weeknight dinners.

  America’s Test Kitchen who are the group behind the Cook’s Illustrated magazines also make cookbooks. My son has celiac so we have to be gluten free. I have several of their regular cookbooks and LOVE them, they are just as thorough as the magazine. I was super excited to see they have a gluten free cookbook when my mom got it for us. It’s very good and has tons of GF recipes.
