Anyone have this? Kids keep asking for it but it just looks so big. Does it keep them entertained long? Well made?

My 5yo has the smaller one. He got it for Christmas last year and it was a huge hit…. for about a month. Now never gets played with and takes up soooooo much space.

My son has the smaller one. It is pretty big and takes up a lot of space. He plays with it sometimes but definitely not daily. Also in my opinion it is cheaply made for the price. It onlinees apart very easily.

We have the ultimate garage from last year. It gets played with a few times a month at this point (son is almost 5). It’s big and takes up space. I would never pay this much for a toy. The ultimate garage last year was $60ish which was enough for me.

We also bought the smaller one last Christmas. It was huge and my son lost interest quickly. Within 6 months we had given it away to a younger cousin.

We have the smaller one from last year. I got it on sale for $50. We have used it, but after a year he has lost interest. It’s also huge to store. I’ve learned to get things that can be folded down. I think it depends on how into hot wheels your kids are, and if you have space.

I have been looking at this as well. I don’t know if I can spend this kind of money for a Christmas gift. Also, Target has 25% off toys today only and it ends up being less.

This is excluded from the Target deal. It was part of the $10 cash back amazon deal though. I bought it for that price and got a $10 credit. I’m not sure if that is still available.

    • April

I got it for $143.63 back in early October at Target. It’s the best price I have seen yet.

Is it me or is the cost of toys beonlineing outrageous? $199 for hotwheels? That is two weeks worth of groceries for my household.

    • Rose

      Same for us I Agree

  5. Kimc

I had been keeping an eye on this item for a while, $143 was the lowest I’ve seen it. I have yet to see it for the actual msrp price except on Mattels website.

My son got the Ultimate Garage last year, he played with maybe a couple times, sat in the corner at took up a lot of room. I finally sold it on KSL classifed and gave him the money – he was more excited about the money than the toy. I wouldn’t pay this much for this toy. Save your money and buy a tablet, a learning game, or lego’s. Just my 2 cents you’ll regret paying this price for plastic that doesn’t hold interest and is a huge space hog.
