Does anyone have this? How does it onlinepare to the Instapot?

    • Carrie

While I don’t have one, reading one review really made up my mind. If you are looking for “Instapot” recipes, accessories, etc; this machine doesn’t convert. The review mentioned that the buttons are quite different & conversion times will probably be frustrating if you are wanting to pressure cook & pin recipes. They gave it good reviews as far as the brand & crockpot. Hope that helps a little. I was excited, but would have been frustrated for these reasons buying it.

        Thank you!

My parents have the power pressure cooker xl and I have the instantpot. Their buttons are different also but I’ve never had a problem figuring out which button to select.

  2. Shawn G

My daughter has one. Not sure how it onlinepares to the Instapot, but she likes this just fine. I would guess its the same concept.

  3. matt

We have one and are still learning to do more things with it, but it’s awesome so far. We’ve done meat, rice, potatoes, butternut squash, and a risotto.

  4. Nina

I’m sure it’s the same thing. Crock pot knew it had to delve into this category to keep up with the times and this will probably beonlinee to new ‘go to’ as well, giving IP a run for its money. Price wise cant beat it.

  5. Nina

I think if I didn’t get the IP already I’d probably prefer this just bcus of the Crockpot name.. n for $49 wish I would’ve waited

  6. Andrea

Best Buy has the Bells brand one that gets really good reviews for $39.99!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Thanks for sharing Andrea!

  7. Bebe

Also the same price at Target right now.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Sweet! Thanks for letting us know!

  8. Suni

Hey can we bake something in this too

  9. Melanie

I’m waiting until all of Walmart’s Black Friday deals go live online. Some deals are live now, but not the 5qt Instant Pot yet. It is supposed to be $49.99 as well. Hope this helps some decide.

  10. Janet

Can you buy extra parts (like rings and pans) for this pressure cooker? I think I might have to stick with the IP brand, just because parts are so easy to get.

  11. Moni B.

Moni here…the one who alerted about the deal. This product is also available at Crock Pots’s website (www.crock-pot.online) for the same price! With free shipping too (unless you live in Hawaii). If u order now (esp from Amazon) u could have it by Thanksgiving to use for holiday cooking! No waiting for Black Friday deals. I have this cooker and although I haven’t used it yet, I’m certain it will be satisfactory for me. An extended range of accessories aren’t available but I’m sure Crock Pot will eventually sell them! Or perhaps IP’s 6 quart accessories might work in the meantime? ~Happy Thanksgiving!~
