I bought one of these for my 8 year old son for day camp last summer. They said they needed to have a hip strap and this was the only one I could find that had one and would even remotely fit him (he’s very small for his age). He LOVES it! He insisted on using it for school this year he liked it so much. Luckily he doesn’t have any big books or a binder yet because they would not fit in here. It’s a very onlinefortable bag and would work for a small child.
