I love making things with my machine.

  2. Nolrgrad

I want to get an air 2 so bad!! Should I jump on this or wait until Black Friday? Any thoughts or suggestions???

    • Kmc1021

      I’d get the maker!

      • Nolegrad

The Maker sounds amazing but I don’t sew. I wouldn’t need to cut fabric. I’m mainly looking for paper cutting and for vinyl projects. I was thinking since the new machine is out that they may possibly have some good Black Friday deals. Can’t decide if I should wait or not! Guess I’ll sleep on it!! Have fun with the Maker if you go for it!!

  3. Kendall

Crazy question, but I don’t know.much about this. Can you print on vinyl? I’m looking for a good printer for making shirts and vinyl stickers.

    • Cbeths

This is not a printer. This only cuts. It would cut heat transfer vinyl to make shirts.

      • Leavesbegintofall

You can do print to cut though. So, if you had a nice printer, you could print from your onlineputer or device and then cricut could cut around the edges perfectly for you.

  4. PreschoolJenn

This looks like an amazing deal! Wonder how this measures up to the latest Cameo machine?

    • Cbeths

My suggestion… check out the software for each. To me, they were quite different. But the machines themselves have the same capabilities.

  5. Mary

What do you make with it? My daughter is crafty and perhaps it might be something she’d like but I don’t know what you make with it. Any suggestions?

    • melissa

Shirts, cards, scrapbooks, signs, mugs, party decor.. the possibilities are endless

  6. Holly

This deal is how I bought my Air 1 about 6 months ago. I love it- I cut cards, fun vinyl decals, shirts. I just made for teens Halloween costume; Care Bear hoodies. This is a great deal and gives you a sample of all the different materials you can use. I’ll be sharing this deal with my many Cricut FB groups.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

How neat! Awesome to hear all of the cool items you have been able to make Holly! Thanks for the great feedback!

  7. Rachel

Silhouette cameo is so much better IMO

    • Cbeths

      This is my preference also.

    • Chrissie

      Can you tell us why?

    • Sara

      Rachel,
Why do you like the silhouette better? I am trying to decide which one to choose? Do you have more design upturns with silhouette?
      Thanks, Sara

  8. makila fields

why is the silhouette better? Also, is the air2 that much better than the air?

    • Holly

The main difference between the air and the air 2 is the 2 has a high speed cutting option.

      • Teri Lynn Geist

Cutting at a higher speed is not always a good thing.

  9. MammaK

Would this work for making painted signs???

    • Jana

Yes it would! I make signs using pallet wood mostly and use the indoor vinyl to make the stencil for words/images.
I have tried using the cricut stencil material and had horrible luck. There’s a brand of indoor vinyl at michael’s called Recollections, I believe, and you can use michael’s coupons for it so it ends up being less than half the price of the cricut brand vinyl.

  10. Katie Y

I have been wanting to get one of these for a long time. Do you know how long this sale will last?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hmm, good question! Checking on this now!

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

Hey there Katie! Unfortunately, we are unsure of when the sale will end. However, the promo code is valid through 12/31/2017.
