  Danielle, haven’t seen them at Costco this year. But, if you visit the sale section on AG.online they have last year’s sets for $130. It is $30 more than last year plus shipping but still a good deal.

  I was just at Costco in KS and they didn’t have bitty baby but they had American girl pets which are adorable for $29.99. I didn’t get one cause I think I like American girl more than my daughter does lol. I’m waiting to see if kohls will get in any ag stuff for Christmas again?

  it really depends on the person. some people beonlinee uninterested in dolls by age ten, and some still play with dolls at fourteen. but im an adult and i still havent outgrown my love for american girl dolls. the onlinepanys target age range is 8yr-12yr though.

  Get the bitty twins if they would like that doll. You can choose which dolls you would like so it doesn’t have to be the boy and girl dolls. They have hair but a soft body so they are more cuddly I think.

  You can pick up a used AG doll on Ebay. If you are careful you can get one as low as about $40 shipped. I needed to make one into a boy for my son, and there was no way I was going to pay full price to experiment. You may have to do a little TLC like tightening limbs, but there are tons of Youtube videos that show you how to fix them up. Just make sure that you ask before hand and don’t get one that has been exposed to cigarette smoke because it is nearly impossible to get that smell out. You have to change the stuffing and soak the body in vinegar, maybe even re-wig the doll. The dolls are so high quality that even a used one is still beautiful. If you are creative with how you present them they probably won’t even know the difference.
