There are ONLY 73 days until Christmas! 😱

If you’re looking for great buys on ALL things holiday related, Dollar Tree is where it’s at! Seriously, they have the BEST buys! However, do keep in mind that Dollar Tree inventory can vary greatly by region, but hopefully many of you will be able to find the same deals that we’ve spotted.

HIP TIPI would reonlinemend shopping sooner rather than later as they tend to sell out of the popular Christmas items quite quickly.

Check out some of our favorite finds…

  • Boxed Christmas Cards – most of the boxes I spotted contained 12-14 cards, which means you are paying just 7-8¢ per card since the box is ONLY $1!

  • Gift Card Boxes
  • Gift Boxes

  • Extension Cords
  • Holiday Lights

I also spotted TONS of Craft Supplies for just a BUCK! If you’re going to be doing any Christmas crafts or art projects, you may find what you need at Dollar Tree. One of my favorite things are the fun Pom-Poms! Use the Pom-Poms to make these Easy Christmas Ornaments – great gift and they are also perfect to hang on your own tree!

You may also find…
  • Holiday Ribbon
  • Glitter Stickers
  • Jingle Bells
  • Decorative Bows
  • Greenery and Holiday Flowers

Plan on decorating a tree? I spotted an amazing collection of ornaments – they even have a Christmas Pickle ornament! Now, I had never heard of a Christmas Pickle and wasn’t sure what that was all about. But, after googling, I found out that…

The Christmas Pickle is a decoration in the shape of a pickle that is hidden on a Christmas tree, with the finder receiving either a reward or good fortune for the following year. So if you’d like to start your own Christmas Pickle tradition, keep an eye out for this item! 😉

There were also Paint Your Own Ornaments and clear DIY Ornament Balls which would be a lot of fun for the kiddos. In fact, you can use the DIY Ornament Balls to make these adorable Snowman Ornaments!

I also spotted several decor items that would be a nice addition to a gift basket or to decorate your own home. You may spot…

  • Snow Globes
  • Snowmen and/or Mr & Mrs Claus Salt and Pepper Shakers
  • Merry Christmas Glass Jars w/ lids
  • Elf, Snowman and Santa Figurines
  • + More!

Happy $1 Shopping All!

Just a tip, those little metal bells go great with Magnatiles. They can make Christmas trees 😊

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Cute tip! Thanks for the heads up!

    • Wishinitwas

Ohhh thank for the tip. My kids love their Magnatiles. I never thought to try other things with them. Can mom stand the ringing though is the question?! 🙂

  2. K

Anyone have the link for the 10% off 10 coupon for this Sunday. My mom got a coupon in store a few weeks ago but I haven’t had any luck finding it online.

  3. Dee

Ooh, thanks for the idea about the pom pom ornaments! My kids would love to do this craft! I also love those Merry Christmas jars. I’m thinking fill with peppermints or chocolate and give as gifts.

We have a Charlie Brown Christmas tree up at work, year round. I plan on creating an ornament for each month. We even kept our poinesttia alive from 3 years ago. My coworker takes it home to turn it red this time of the year. 🙂

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

How neat! Love the idea of an ornament for each month! Thanks for sharing!

  7. Laurie

Those pine cone Pom Pom ornaments are so cute! I think I’m going to make those this year. Thank you

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I agree! They are super cute! You’re welonlinee Laurie!

  8. Katherine

We received the Christmas pickle years ago as a gift from a friend. My kids are teenagers now and they still enjoy finding the pickle like they did when they were younger. This is definitely a gift to give a family with small so they can start the tradition.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Awesome to hear your family has enjoyed the Christmas Pickle!! Such a neat memory to have to look back on! 😉

  9. Natalie

The cards are actually a bit cheaper than 12-14 cents each. They’re closer to 7-9 cents each, sweetening the deal. Thanks for the post 😎

    • Renee

Beware of some of those cheap cards. As a postal worker, the Paper Magic brand had such thin brittle envelopes, that they were all breaking apart at the seams. It was a nightmare trying to piece them together along with gift cards and cash that came out of them!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Thanks for catching that Natalie!

  10. JA

I’ll have to check out those ornaments. We get each of the kids one every year, so when they are out on their own they have a set of memories for their own tree. Its something my parents did for me and my brother.

My dollar tree has had their Christmas stuff out since the second week of September. As I was in there trying to find a few Halloween items, the manager was redoing the shelves taking fall signs down and putting up merry Christmas. Thought it was weird, but I managed to snag a few items. Got about 10 of the glitter ornaments, they are super cute

  12. Luv 🌺

I like the photo with pompon idea, I can have each kid do their own picture and I’ll do one with babybump’s ultrasound/4D picture on thanksgiving day. Thanks for the idea. 🌺
