I bought this last year. It isn’t even worth the discounted price. It’s already been junked. Flimsy plastic and cardboard.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Sorry to hear that Tarin šŸ™ Thanks for the honest feedback!

  2. Deb

Thanks for your review. Glad I didn’t order it for my granddaughter.

  3. Lisa

Someone on the reviews says they got it for $13 on clearance in store after Christmas. I donā€™t think $35 is a bargain.

    • Erin

Ugh. I paid $30 on clearance. It’s not opened. Maybe I should sell it.

    • R

I got it for $13.. so happy with that price. Itā€™s cute and pretty big

  4. Mamarenie

I bought this on Friday. It is going to be at my house tomorrow. Maybe.. Iā€™ll be sending it back! I donā€™t want something that will be junk in a few days.
That stinks itā€™s junk my daughter really wanted this.
Off topic but any reviews for the calico critter things? Iā€™ve almost bought them for 6-7 years. I finally ordered one and it was delivered a few days ago, but Iā€™m just not sure itā€™s worth the money??? Thoughts???
Should I send back? Or is it worth the money?

    • Lindsay

I hate paying for calico critters, but my girls love them! We purchased targets version of them, called Lil’ Woodzees and my girls have LOVED them! They make so many great sets and the ones we have purchased have held up really well!

    • Heidi

All of the Calico Critters sets are really sweet, highly detailed, and have held up well for us. Just make sure you have a little storage container for the tiny pieces. I think that you’ll be happy with your purchase. Also you can probably check out what youve bought on Youtube for a review, but I don’t think that you’ll be disappointed. We’ve bought CC stuff with Michaels and Joann coupons in the past too…

    • Erin

They are expensive but I don’t mind paying a premium for quality toys. That said, I’m not sure they were worth it for my daughter because she rarely plays with them. I think it really depends on the child. If you think your daughter will play with them a lot, keep them. If not, return.

We bought this last year for $25 at Target after Christmas for my newly 3 year old. She and her 1 year old sister play with this daily and itā€™s held up great

    • Kerri

Same here! We have had it since January and it has held up fine. I wouldnā€™t pay $100 for it, but I thought $25 was worth it. My daughter loves it for all her Disney princesses.

    • Christine

I also bought this last year for $20 at Target after Christmas for my 3yr old and she also plays with it daily wither her 1yr old and it has held up well also. My daughters love it and have a great time playing with it! The only con I have is the cardboard panels for the windows, I would reonlinemend maybe laminating them to make them more durable! The cardboard panels are something I have seen with almost all the dollhouses and playsets, so I expected it. It’s so annoying that they do this with kid toys. They should not even bother making the cutouts for these window panels, they should use the stickers for everything. Sorry had to vent about this. Anyway though I got for $20, I still think $35 isn’t a bad price for this house, especially considering the price most houses and playsets go for.
