Check out what readers have to say about this jacket…

I bought this a couple weeks ago…they are great for 40 degree weather, but not for any cooler than that. What’s great is that I can wear it in the cool mornings and shove it into my bag in the afternoon when it’s hot. It’s super light…

We got some to donate yesterday. I had also ordered several for Christmas…

I bought one of these last year and love it. It is perfect for Texas. It isn’t for snow and deep cold. My daughter kept stealing mine so I bought her one this year.

I think they run fairly true to size. I wear a M/L shirt and got a L jacket. There is definitely room for a thicker shirt or sweater underneath. I also love that the sleeves are fairly long ~ no creeping up when I raise my hands over my head. There is a good elastic on the cuff to keep it down but it’s not the kind that strangles your wrists. It is super light and feels like a soft sweater when on. Another plus ~ it has the fleece-like material on the inside of the arms and the side of the body which prevents that awful “swish” noise some coats make when you walk. Love this jacket!

would this be too much for someone living in florida?

    • Erin

I don’t think so. I live in VA and I wear the one I bought last year in the house. (I’m always cold!) Not a fan of these “mixed media” ones–they’re kinda cheap looking.

Are these thin enough to be worn under wool
coats in the winter? I used to wear a thin fleece under my wool coats when I had dress up and put the puffy down jacket away, but was looking for an alternative. Considered the Uniqlo and this.

I ordered one that just arrived today. Be aware that these jackets are VERY LIGHT AND VERY THIN. I’d equate warmth to wearing a sweatshirt. This is a fall or spring coat for PA weather. I would not wear if below 55 degrees or so. Love the color though. I’d say coat is sized accurately. Great deal and slimming with the black elastic side panels.
