Does frontier have a bunch of extra fees like picking a seat and carry-on luggage? Is it reliable?

    • Ashley

Yes lots of add lbs but you can say no. It’s good for short trips when you can fit everything in a backpack. They’ve been very reliable for me, better than Spirit for sure!

      • Kitty

        Thanks!

  2. sue

What hidden fees do they have?

    • Tori

Fees for carry on & checked baggage per their website

The only thing included is the seat on the plane lol.
Pack an empty water bottle and fill on the other side of security. You can print your ticket for free at the airport. Car seats are free and you can check them at the gate or front desk.
You pay extra for seat assignment, carry on, and checked bags. Seats don’t recline and are set to a permanent slight recline.
You can pack a back pack free. The official dimensions is small ( I’ve only heard them checking once) but it’s supposed to fit under the seat.

You can just search the cities you would want to travel to and from rather than try to remember a list of cities that are excluded from the promotion. I never pay attention to that I just know where I would want to travel, look up those cities and type in the promo code. It will say yay or nay. Usually mines always a yes. The main thing to take note of is the days of the week that it’s good for, I think this ones like Tuesday Wednesday and Saturdays

      • Maira

What do you mean the days its good for? What days can one person travel then?

  4. Leah

I used them one time but didn’t notice any hidden fees. They don’t serve snacks or a drink if that makes a difference

  5. Sarah

Is this different than joining their cheap fare club?

  6. Chelsea

Thank you so much for posting these!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welonlinee!

  7. Sharina

RT from Chicago to Miami is $40. Might have to take a spurr of the moment trip.

  8. Nicole

Why is there nothing out of the northeast to Florida? So sad! 🙁

  9. Maira

We just flew today from coast to coast (SFO to DC). A family of 4, one stroller, one carseat, one wheelchair, one diaper bag included and no extra charge. Water in plane is free but snacks n other drinks start at $2.99. In all we had a great experience n everyone was wonderful. We packed a diaper bag and 2 bagpacks for a week in DC.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome to hear that! Thanks for sharing your experience! 🙂

My family loves Frontier. We took a 4 day trip from Columbus to Orlando during labor day for 25.00 round trip each. We traveled with duffle bags. I think they are 18 inch bags with no problem. Flew with them in July to Tampa for 100.00 a ticket. To Atlanta in April for 63.00 a ticket. We pack our own snacks and the grand kids are fine with ice water for short flights. Better than driving 13 hours to FL and 10 potty breaks.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Super glad to hear that! Thanks for your feedback!

  12. Nina

Oh my Gosh! I can’t believe some of these trips people are posting about on Frontier!
$25 round trip?? $63?? Cheaper then driving! That’s unbelievable. Will have to keep Frontier on the radar.
