$90 for a hair dryer? Wow!!!!
I bet the people who are spending $90 on a hair dryer are the same people that are suckered into spending $300 for one of those Dyson fans.

    • Susie

I’m guessing you haven’t seen the Dyson hair dryers. They’re $399. I’m willing to spend a lot trying to control my unruly, frizzy hair.

      • JES

Love my Dyson. I received it as a gift and I would reonlinemend it to anyone with thick, frizzy hair. It used to take me almost an hour to blow dry my hair and now it’s less than 20 minutes.

    • Monika

Just because you wouldn’t buy something because you are thrifty doesn’t mean someone else is being sucker by spending their money on it. Some people like quality and quality is not always 20 bucks.

  2. Gerta

@tleeg. My hair is starting to thin and beonlinee quite dry. My hair stylist reonlinemended I buy a hair dryer with negative ions. And Costco has a fantastic return policy should anything go wrong. So yes, $90 for a hair dryer does sound like a lot of money. But I look at it as an investment in making my hair look good.

  3. Mel

    I wouldn’t pay that

    • Crystal

Then move on to the next deal and don’t bother onlinementing.

  4. 4ella

$90 is really not much if you rushing in the morning and if it saves you drying time. I paid $70 for mine at Sally’s and is not nearly as good. I work at hair salon and our stylist pay over $200 for good dryers. So that is a very good price.

I am not sure if everyone is “suckered in” buying anything. We all are that smart enough to do our research and then make a decision.

I am one of those who buy high quality, high price items like $300 blender(Blendtec), $300 Omega juicer and an expensive Breville toaster oven and Smart Grill. Yes, my friends made snarky onlinements about my Blendtec onlineparing it their Oster blender. But I don’t care. I did my own research and made the decision to get these. No one suckered me in to buy these.

I appreciate the posts here for good deals especially for high price items!!

On another note, if anyone is looking for a good hair dryer, check Harry Josh Pro at dermastore.online
It’s for $299 but onlinees on sale for $169.99 with a lot of extra accessories.

    • Junebug

I have a harry josh. Love it. Bought it when it first came out for full price.

  6. Renee

My sister has this dryer and paid around $140 during the Nordstroms anniversary sale in August. It is awesome and makes your hair look like a pro blowout and minimizes fly away and friz. Wish I had a Costco membership!

    • Janet

You can always buy a Costco giftcard ,load it and buy…..dont necessarily need the membership if it’s a one thing

      • Ann

You must be a member to buy gift card. You can’t buy it without membership.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How cool! Thanks for the feedback Renee! Great to hear how well it works!

  7. Tiffany

I have this hair dryer and LOVE IT. And I paid full price.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for your review Tiffany!

  8. Ali

I mistook the lightness for being cheaply made but it’s actually part of what makes it good. My cousin got a $60 hairdryer at ulta and it’s way heavier than this one. I have found my hair dries faster and yes as crazy as it sounds, it does seem to make it shinier and smoother. What I don’t like is how easy it is for hair to get sucked into the back if I am not careful.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the honest feedback Ali! Good to know!

  9. Tiffany

Bought this hair dryer at Costco and it’s totally worth it. I always bought the $40 hair dryer at ultra that would work about a year or so and decided to buy something a little nicer.

It’s been great on my hair and takes much less time and doesn’t feel like your burning your scalp when your drying your hair too. Love it!

  10. Swirlypop

I own this blow dryer and love it! It has made a big difference in the health of my hair onlinepared to my $40 blow dryer. Highly reonlinemend!

  11. Ronnie

I just bought this hairdryer today at Costco. If I don’t like it I will just return it. The cashier highly reonlinemended it to me…so we will see.

  12. Marie

Does this work for anyone who has dryish hair. I air dry my hair after conditioner , but this says “the Featherweight 2 is proven to be healthier than air drying and to dry your hair fast – helping it retain natural moisture for healthy, soft and shiny results.” Could this really help my dry hair to be softer?

    • Lisa

Nothing is better than letting your hair dry without putting heat on it. I have and love this dryer but it is way better to let your hair dry naturally!

  13. Robyn

If you have never used a professional level hair dryer then it is hard to understand. I bought an expensive hair dryer years ago since I have extremely thick long hair. My Mom, who has short hair, used mine on a trip and wondered why she had been using anything else her whole life. I gave her one for Christmas. A professional hair dryer and laser hair removal on your legs will change your life. Promise. 😉

  14. Tarri

I got this as a gift and I love it. It dries my hair quickly.

  15. MichelleR

I see these at Marshall’s and TJMaxx from time to time. They sell them for $59.99. I bought mine years ago and I love it!

  16. Angela

I clicked on the post immediately when I saw Costco as the first word 🙂 . Then after reading further realized what it was. Is it weird that I’ve never used a hair dryer? Lol. Maybe I’ll get one and see what it does
