I don’t know about you all but I don’t allow my kids to make it. It is nasty and ends up everywhere.

I usually do but in a very confined space….hubby & I went on vacay earlier this year (kids stayed with my MIL) & apparently they made slime at school & by the time we returned 4 days later there was hard, dried slime on several outfits, a couple pairs of pajamas, the carpet, & the sheets!!!! I was like how?!! 😭😭😭

My kids are 5, 10 and 12 and absolutely love making it. The rule at my house is that they have to clean up after themselves, I’d better not find slime on anything, lol! And the 5 year old can’t do it alone. I bought this deal Collin posted before summer started and they’ve almost plowed through the gallon, but it’s been hours and hours of entertainment making slime with every different recipe they can find. They love to show their friends how to make it whenever anyone onlinees over. It was a great purchase in my book!

      • Erin

Exactly! And it does clean up easily. My daughter got it on a white dress and it came right out even though it had food coloring in it!

    • Scnewport

We are on our 6th gallon. My daughter loves making it along with her friends. Yes, there is still mess even after they “cleaned” it up. It is washable so it onlinees out of everything with lots of water. It’s good innocent fun.

    • Cristine

My kids have strict rules for playing with the slime, at the table on the hardwood floor. It gets a bit messy but they have so much fun!! To me play-doh is much worse.

  4. Teresa

I’m a grandma and my grandkids have a blast making all different colors of slime! Even when the occasional mess of getting it on the carpet happens it’s easily cleaned up with vinegar and a bit of water. The fun totally outweighs the small mess!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That’s great to hear Teresa! Thanks for the helpful clean up tip!

  5. Ashlie

We made slime with over 100 kids at our VBS this year (using a deal on glue from H2S!) We did the contact solution/baking soda variety which cleans up really easy. Gave them each a solo cup and spoon and their job was to stir while we added ingredients and their choice of color/glitter/etc. And if you use acrylic paint as your color rather than food coloring it is pretty mess free. The kids were in such awe when we added the contact solution and it started to turn ‘slimy’. It was a big hit!
And yes, after a few weeks it does turn a little stinky and not so cool anymore lol But the experience is neat for the kids while doing it 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How fun! Thanks so much for sharing your experience! 😉

  6. Jenifer

Thank you! Such an awesome deal I ended up buying 3…since my daughter is part of the making SLIME craze!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

  7. Sharol

Can this be used a glue refill for the bottle glue? Wondering if it might be a good purchase for the classroom for their glue bottles…??? TIA!!!

    • Gail

      Yes, it would work perfectly

  8. Nina

Yea I don’t know about all this ‘slime’ talk lately either, at first I’m like what is that? ..but I don’t allow my child to make it.
