Tips for saving at Great Wolf Lodge Resorts…
  • Pay for a one night stay at Great Wolf Lodge, but play for two days! Arrive early on the day of arrival and play while you wait for check in time, then check out of your room the next morning, but play for the entire second day!
  • Pack snacks for play time and use the microwave and fridge in-room! Make sure you have snacks on hand during the day, so you won’t be tempted to run to the vending machine! And consider eating one of your meals in your hotel room with food you bring from home. Room aconlinemodations include a microwave and fridge so you can throw together an inexpensive meal!
Check out what readers have to say about Great Wolf Lodge:

I’ve stayed at the one in NC for a week … Oh boy was it fun. We went in the off peak season so the outdoor pools were closed but it didn’t matter. There is so much to do indoors from the water slides, wave pool, lazy river, and the water playground and that’s just on the water park side … They had an entire section just dedicated for game machines bigger then most Chuck e Cheese.

We did this last time it was posted. Will definitely do it again! It was freezing outside, but we had a BLAST indoors.

We went to the Kansas City GWL this October over fall break. We had a blast and stayed 2 nights. We brought most of our food and had a fridge and microwave that was perfect for us. Would definitely do this again.

My whole family loved going to the Great Wolf Lodge in NC. The kids always had stuff to do and we were able to relax. We all had a lot of fun.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Great to hear your family had such a fun time! Thanks for the feedback Leslie!

  2. rachael

The taxes and fees added $51.69. I was so excited, then let down. Ugh!

    • Alli

Yup, mine added $95.67 of taxes and fees for two nights. 😑

      • Laura

I paid over $300 for ONE night at the GWL in Colorado Springs. 95 per night is a freaking steal!!

    • Charmel

I know. And when you look at what the resort fees are for, I won’t use any of that. It covers wi-if, a newspaper, gym use, coffee in the room. I wish they would give me the option to not have all of that and save $50 a day.

  3. CG

Seems prices for Sandusky have changed and now are starting at $79. Also, the groupon offer doesn’t mention anything regarding two night stays, it is only for a one night stay.

    • Me

I’m in Ohio also! How did you like sandyusky? I hear everyone prefers kalahari

      • Kathryn

Me too. I’ve heard great wolf for younger kids and kalahari for older

        • C

          Accurate

          • Valerie D'Alimonte

What do you consider younger? Mine are 13 & 11.

      • Sarah

I just bought and the two night option is there, you just have to select it. We definitely prefer Kalahari, but GW is great for younger families. And since it’s so much smaller it doesn’t get as crazy as Kalahari can get.

      • CG

We have been to both and the kids like Kalahari better.

  4. Joan

I find for the family suite the best deals are through the Great Wolf website. Join their club for free and book when you get 50% of two nights or 40% off one night. Must book 60 days advance. I am staying for a total of $318 for two nights in the family suite midweek in Poconos second week in November.

    • Joan

Forgot to add that the Groupon deal for the same dates and room would have be $478. The family suite does not get the Groupon resort dining credit either.

  5. BuffaloGal

To bad I live near Great wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls. The deals never include Niagara Falls and their prices are usually almost double the other results. And that’s with the Canadian exchange.

    • HockMom

We live here too and I am always frustrated that the Niagara Falls locations is double the price!

  6. Caryn

We did this deal over the summer – had tons of fun – we did get charged $50 resort fee upon checkout as well and I was surprised 😳 Thank you!! Thinking of doing it again the kids loved it

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re welonlinee Caryn! Glad to hear how much fun it was!

  7. Missy

Does this work in Grapevine, TX?

  8. boomergirl1278

Just got home from GWL 20 minutes ago! It was amazing. They had wonderful things for the kids and adults.
