   ~ NEED YOUR HELP LADIES ~ I am really frustrated with today’s poor quality and short living vacuums and I am desperately searching for a really great vacuum cleaner that will last me a while 🙁 I am willing to pay for it more too if I know that it will last… I am tired of constantly replacing mine every year or like this year we did twice (a Hoover) Can you please share your good experiences with the brand’s specific models? We have carpet and we do vacuum frequently. No pets. Thanks a lot!!!

  after 20 yrs. using Electrolux canisters, which I really loved, from Electrolux and very expensive with bags… I switched to shark brand vacuums. disclosure; I used to own a cleaning business.
  I just defected for my own home use to shark brand. I recently bought 2 shark vacuums. one for downstairs and one for my upstairs.
  one is the shark navigator deluxe and the other shark is a shark rocket.
  caution, on both these models they make different degrees of models under the same name. example, the shark rocket, I think their are like 3 models or more, different colors etc.
  bottom line, no need to buy the best model. both of these were under $175.00 ea. I find that bed bath beyond with their 20% coupon has one of the best deals.
  shark brand has great suction. and 5 yr. warranty. I’m all about SUCTION, and strong SUCTION, that’s what makes a great vacuum, and these have great suction and very long cords too. bagless too. read up and see the reviews, they are quite impressive. I have carpeting, carpets and Harwood flooring in my home.

  I really love my shark vacuum too. I went from a dyson to a shark and never looked back. I think I bought my shark on sale for about a hundred dollars. My dyson was $400.

  Yup bags can get expensive since they had stopped stocking the bags anywhere remotely close to us for our old canister Electrolux. We took and we ran it a good year or so without bags!!!! We starting using it as a shop vac pretty much the last few months of its life.

  I also have a Shark lift away! Had it over 5 years with zero problems. It has powerful suction! I use if for everything indoors as well as outdoors and cars! Love it and will never own anything else

  I used to have an electrolux from 80s from my parents. But then about 10 yrs ago we got a dyson. We now have 2 dyson animals and a shark. LOVE both. The dyson tho is too heavy for my hubby, which is why we kept getting one for each floor in the house. I decided now to keep 1 dyson and 1 shark. Not sure what I will do with the one dyson, but both work great and have had the dyson 10 years and the shark about 3 or 4.

  I have had my Hoover Windtunnel for over 10 yrs. I found out that the key is to have it serviced every year or every other year. They change out the belts, clean it and make sure that the suction is good. It’s like servicing a car to make it last longer. You can bring it to your local sew and vac shop to do the servicing. Hope this helps.

   I don’t like our shark at work it clogs up all the time, I had the dyson pet vacuum and it kept breaking belts on it and finally blew up it got real hot and made popping noise and then out it went. I wasn’t impressed it wasn’t all that old
