On the fence? Here’s what a few readers had to say last time we posted…

We got our first box this month (we’re trying to only press the button once a month) and it was wonderful!

I’m so excited!! This will be such a great mom treat!!

You can’t initiate a return for these online, you actually have to call customer service. I called about receiving alcohol flavored gumdrops in our box since I don’t drink and the box was a treat for my kids. I believe they want to speak with you about the return since this is a new program and want feedback. The rep was very nice about it and refunded the charge.

I got one of these a few months ago, it might just be me but it was a little fancy for my tastes. Not to mention I’m not a dark chocolate eater and I got a lot. If you’re into that sort of thing though Amazon does everything well this is no exception.

I wasn’t super-impressed with the items I received. There was a yummy palm size rum cake in mine, but the cookies weren’t that flavorful, nor was the rice crispy treat or caramels. Overall, just not worth the $18 to me. I don’t think I will order again. But I do hope you all enjoy your boxes!

Glad to hear they took my and others suggestions! I got my first box and with a 105 degree heat index in South FL, sitting on a not air conditioned UPS truck all day, my box was destroyed and it didn’t even sit at my door! All chocolate was melted, and not enough padding in box – cookies were dust.

They refunded my money and gave me a $15 Amazon credit. I suggested more padding and ice packs in box to hotter states (or no chocolate).

Glad you could grab the refund! Thanks for sharing your experience!

I had a similar experience recently with Google Express — in that case, shipping chocolate from Whole Foods, also without any ice packs! Melted onlinepletely in transit, resolidified into one big blob.

I also suggested no alcohol in candy since some can’t have it for medical or religious reasons. Or wanting to give it to kids.

I love the button, but was less than thrilled with my first box. I had cracker-like chocolate chip cookies that were in crumbles by the time it was delivered, and some unique chocolate truffles that none of my sweet-toothed family cared for. There were gummy pandas that were really good and also the cinnamon roll popcorn was enjoyable. It also took almost a week to get here as well. I guess these will be hit and miss, but I have to admit it’s fun to get something like this in the mail!

I think you and I got the same box. I was very disappointed with it. Cookies were not good. Nothing I couldn’t go to the store and buy. I will not be doing this again.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the feedback Beth! Sorry to hear you were not happy with your first box 🙁

Our box had really tasty stuff in it. However I think the price was a little high for what we actually got. I guess the high price is for the variety factor.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for your review! Glad to hear your items were yummy!

I’m confused. I want to order a box for my grandpas birthday next Saturday. Do I have to order a button? Can I just order one box and have it shipped to him?

    • C

Never mind I found the answer. I think I’ll pass. I do not need a button laying around my house. I get why they want you to have one though!

      • JaxJay😎

You don’t need dash buttons laying around, all my 56 dash buttons are virtual on my Amazon app, tap the Digi button on the left for info, tap on the right for purchasing. Too many kids in my house to have buttons anywhere. Lol. I too live in FL so I have to pass on this during the summer but may do one for fun in the late fall. Enjoy your sweets!

        • C

Oh, thanks for the info 🙂

I tried this the last time it was posted and my box was terrible. I got cookies that were onlinepletely crumbled, chocolates that were melted and a few other things that no one cared for. I contacted Amazon and they refunded 50% of the purchase price. I would have rather sent the whole thing back and got all of my money. Definitely won’t be trying another one.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer! So sorry to hear about that Chelsey! 🙁

  7. Katie

Just got my box today and was disappointed. I’m glad that I didn’t pay full price for it (used some credit that I had on my Amazon account). I got a large rice crispy treat, an oatmeal bar, chocolate toffee pretzel pieces, and caramel vanilla popcorn. I hate preztels and toffee, the rice crispy treat was melted, the popcorn tasted funny, and the oatmeal bar was small. My box was definitely not as good as what is pictured above. I guess it’s hit or miss.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Have you been able to contact Amazon?

  8. Jay

Ours was absolutely garbage. Chocolate was onlinepletely melted. And cookies were crushed to crumbs. Got a bag of gummy bears and carmel corn too. Also didn’t receive it for 4 days. Maybe worth $4. They refunded my money won’t do it again at $18
