If I pay with you rewards for a product that offers reward, am I going to get it?

    • I

      No.

    • sophie

I called them when they had the batteries a while back, and they said it depends on the offer. I’d call to check on this offer.

    • Andria

Yes you will! I have been doing the .01 multipurpose paper ream deal for weeks! It takes about 24-48 to load my reward then I go and buy another ream with the 5.99 reward I got from the first ream and I then 24-48 hrs later I get another one! The rewards are processed as a gift card so there’s no reason why it wouldn’t give you another reward.

Two weeks ago I earned $17.97 for buying three paper. Laat week I used them to buy three more paper and it worked. I earned $17.97 again

The OD rewards policy’s fine print says you will not earn rewards if you use rewards. It’s crystal clear there. However….Sometimes you do anyway. Just don’t count on it — be happily surprised when it works out. I *think* the glitch in the system is that if the rewards you redeem aren’t for the full purchase price (so you’re also spending some cash too), it will credit the new rewards. I’ve been testing that theory, and it’s been working reliably — I think it’s possibly a glitch though, so it may not work forever, given what the rewards policy terms say.

The rewards are processed as gift card payment. Not being able to get rewards will paying for rewards would be like saying if you pay with a gift card given to you as a gift you can get the rewards which is dumb.

      • Mindy

Andria is correct. It works every time for me, and I do believe it’s bc it’s considered a gift card payment.

        • kay

Have you tried on the 100% back stuff though?? I’ve tried on the ones that have a set amount back and it works but I’m nervous to try on the 100% back stuff as I’ve used coupons and cash on them in the past and only got back what I paid after the coupon (example $15 pens, used coupon and paid $12oop and only got $12 in points back)

          • Mindy

Well, bad news. I’m here to report that it did NOT work this time. I used $70 in rewards to purchase 2 packs of the Avery labels and 3 reams of paper. I got the paper rewards fine, but I only got $7.98 each for the labels. I did an online chat and the guy said “because you used a gift card, you cannot get rewards”. Strange. He gave it to me anyway, as a courtesy. But now we know.

Are the “rewards” cash back (or VISA pre paid card)? Or just in store credit? Also, there is a Buy 2 Get 1 Free on some 10 ream boxes. Does that mean you can onlinebine both deals?

    • Andria

The rewards load onto the app and the cashier processes as a gift card

    • Mindy

The rewards are just money to be used at the store. Not cash or visa.

  5. Ksantos128

I bought he paper for $6 two weeks ago and I never received the rewards, how long does it usually take?

    • kay

Typically 24hrs – id call or email
