I agree! That would be an embarrassing gift. I bake all the time. Make my own pizza dough, cinn rolls, cookies, cakes etc. I burned through two Kitchen Aids. If you plan to use yours a lot, I would reonlinemend a Breville scraper mixer. I use it four times a day and doesn’t give off burning smell after my second product.

    Wow! Your attitude stinks. 💩

Most newlywed don’t know how to cook worth a crap anyway! Kitchen Aid is too expensive unless it’s you have a good relationship with your own sister, you know she can cook, AND if you have the money to splurge for her.

This is a great gift for the average newlywed couple who doesn’t bake a lot or with much technical difficulty! I have a cheapy like this and the expensive KitchenAid (gift from my mother). I use both equally.

Thanks for your review! We sure do appreciate it!

I have had this hand mixer for 5 years and LOVE it! (Especially at this low price…) We have Kitchen Aid and Cuisinart appliances that we LOVE as well. My husband and I used to cater, so we have had experience with several different brands. We mainly use ours for mashed potatoes. I wouldn’t expect it to hold up long if used for cookie dough. That’s why we have the Kitchen Aid mixer.

Thanks so much for your honest feedback!
