It says in the fine print it can take 6-8 weeks to receive the gift card.

I took that to mean that while the gift card would onlinee in 6-8 weeks, only orders placed before 7/31 would be eligible to receive it.

Not yet, but I’m still hopeful as it says 6-8 weeks but it’s annoying there’s no confirmation anywhere like other stores do!

I contacted Customer Service regarding gift card and was told you only receive the gift card if the car seat was bought in the store .

That’s strange, I contacted them as well and they said it will be shipped to me in 6-8 weeks for the online purchase

Hmm that makes no sense, as this is an online only deal, and my email confirmation even mentioned the $100 gift card would be mailed separately and arrive in 6-8 weeks. They frequently do online gc deals. I think whoever you talked to was confused or mistaken.

The wording right on the webite says: “With your purchase of the Chicco KeyFit 30 Magic Infant Car Seat in Avena from bedbathandbeyond.online you are entitled to a $100.00 Bed Bath & Beyond Gift Card! Gift Card offer good for purchases made fromJune 29, 2017 until July 31, 2017. Offer not valid on previous purchases.” I would re-contact customer service. I think you were given incorrect information.

Agreed. Always check ebates, etc. H2S used to highlight those cash back offers, but now (with full disclosure) H2S has its own affiliate links. If you buy through those H2S links, H2S gets the cash back, whereas if you click through your own ebates, etc., you get it.

FYI when I got this deal a couple weeks ago, the car seat I received had a manufacture date that was 2 years old. Not a big deal for most people, as these seats have 6 year expiration dates on them, but just thought I’d share for those that might care about that.
