I have had this on my wishlist since I saw it reonlinemended by Americas Test Kitchen and it did not disappoint! Great Product! This sharpener was able to put a great edge on even my cheapest Costco knife in a matter of minutes. I have since sharpened the knives my mom has had for over 25 years. It was able to take a knife with almost no edge left from mashing a tomato to slicing thru it like butter. She loves her old knives again!
My knives are all SHARP. I warn my friends when they onlinee to cook. We don’t have a professional kitchen knife sharpening service around here and this lets me sharpen my own. I used to use a 2 stage manual sharpener and that did not work as well as this one.
Easy peasy. I got this model because I bought so many knives with 9-15 degree edges. But, none of those have ever needed this yet. I have taken all of my old knives and run them thru this. Then I realized: If I had this before hand, I wouldn’t have bought all those new knives. This allowed me to recover all my old knives, which I have been giving away. Whether you need this model or a different angle, you can’t knock the speed and ease of these sharpeners, or the results.
