   I have this trashcan, but finding an ac adapter that went with this was exhausting. Even thru Amazon. After I found one I learnt my trash can didn’t shut after it opened. I was past the return date and had to settle. I like it because it works in low light. I would still do it again, but make sure I have the batteries or ac adapter to try it out. Eventually I’ll have to go back to one that opens with my foot because we’ll be getting a larger dog and all it’ll take is a lift of his chin to magically open the gates of heaven. 🙂

  I found my adapter on Amazon but it took me two tries. Be mindful to watch the connector end.

   Love this trash can! Dollar Store batteries have lasted several months of frequent use and it’s so much more sanitary with 3 little kids.

   I have had this trash can for almost 3 years. I bought mine at Costco for about the same price. I love this trash can. We had a simple human brand prior to this one and it cost 2x as much and only lasted 6 mos. This is a quality item.

   I have had this type of garbage can from Costco for the past 12 years. Lasted about 5 or 6 years, than got another newer version at Costco. Just love them.
