I had to look twice at this photo – it is you in the pic – right Collin? Cause your face so resembles your grandmas’ oh how I miss that sweet soul

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the sweet onlinement Mary! Yes, that was me in the photo, however the post image has been updated. 😉

  2. Debi

If anyone gets the 10% off coupon and could let me know the expiration date that would be so helpful. Thank you!

  3. cooper

Target should do another 10% or 15% everything in the store for a day! Make it for RedCard holders only.

  4. Tonya Reed

I just applied for and received the red (debit) card. No where in the process did it say anything about the additional 10% off. I received the confirmation email already, and, again, no mention of 10% off. I did use the link you provided above. Any clues? Thank you.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi there! When clicking through the link above here is what it lists: “get an extra 10% off* shopping trip now through May 20th, open a debit or credit REDcardâ„¢ & we’ll send you a coupon for an extra 10% off*” Hope this helps!

  5. DealGetterRN

Is the 10%off when you open the account in store or a coupon for a trip to target?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Now through May 20th, when you open a debit or credit REDcard, Target will send you a coupon for 10% off. Hope this helps!

      • DealGetterRN

        Thank you!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

          YW!

Target no longer holds the prestige it did years ago. They burnt trust allowing counts to be onlinepromised and information stolen BUT not telling the consumers until well into the holiday season. I will not use my debit card nor like to use my credit card there. I do not trust them.

Getting a Redcard is now a waste of time if you don’t live near one. They no longer offer free ship no minimum on all their products. Only certain products get free shipping now. I’m done shopping with Target.

    • Jennifer

I have always received free shipping, no matter what I’ve bought, when I use my redcard. I shop on their website quite a bit also.

      • c

Free shipping no minimum is over on many products. This was implemented on May 7, 2017. This is what it says on their website:
How can I qualify for free shipping?
You can get free shipping when you spend $35 or more. Handling fees may apply.Or you can get free shipping if you use your REDcard, although select items, such as this item, require a minimum purchase threshold of $25 before the order will be shipped. Handling fees may apply. See details.

Does the debit card take any fees a month away from your bank account? because I want one but I’m concerned wire fees and such thank you

    • burgys

There are no fees involved, it’s just like a debit card for your bank account but you can only use it at Target. Just make sure you don’t overdraft and your good to go.

      • pamela

Wow thanks burgys that info was very helpful

    • Katie

No fees, but be aware, as with any debit card, if thieves get a hold of it, it’s real money they’re taking. With a credit card, it’s pretend money (until the bill’s due lol!). If you can, I always reonlinemend using credit cards for safety reasons. I’ve heard some horror stories about overdrawn accounts due to debit cards being stolen, it can be a horrifying mess to sort out. With credit cards, it’s “hey, this wasn’t me”, and they can either correct it then or at least freeze the account until it’s sorted – imagine freezing your bank account!!

      • Angi

Actually that isn’t true, you need to have a PIN number and if anything gets stolen they will be unable to use it because if your pin is wrong it won’t even work. I work there and definitely know the process!!! People’s info can get stolen over the internet just as easily, nobody’s safe!

  9. Christy

Can the 10% coupon be onlinebined with the 15% registry onlinepletion discount?

  10. Tiggy

If you want to sign up for a RedCard, please do it at the store if at all possible. The cashiers are under TREMENDOUS pressure to get sign ups. They are required to ask each and every guest to sign up, and can be reprimanded for not doing so. If you want to sign up for a debit card, bring along a check with you as it’s needed.

    • Wren

Every time I’m in there, employees are encouraging me to get a Red Card. They are very nice about it, but I’m not surprised to hear that they are under pressure to promote the card. If I ever do get one, I will let someone sign me up in-store. Do they get perks for signing people up I wonder?

    • cooper

I have a friend who works at Target and this is 100% true. Management actually got bad at him for not reaching the sign up goal of new RedCard holders.

  11. Jessica

HaS anyone GOT the coupon? Wondering how long it takes?
