It looks the same as the last beauty and beast one they did

  2. Sue

I think it is the same one from the fall.

What are your thoughts on these events? Does it usually get pretty hectic and do they ever run out of supplies?

    • Pamela

Yes, they are busy events depending upon the popularity of the theme. And yes, they run out of supplies when they are busy.

    • Erin

Yes, they can be rough and they do run out of Legos, especially if your store doesn’t provide a pre-packaged set. At the last one, some of the pieces were mixed up and kids and parents kept getting back in and out of line to swap out the wrong pieces and the line was crazy long. The parents were getting rather testy with each other, and the Legos were a mess. I bet it was tough to get a onlineplete set if you were at the end of the line.

    • Krista

We have gone a couple times. At our store there was a line right at the beginning, but then people show up every few minutes and receive a packet without having to wait. There were tables set up, but those did get full so some people were sitting on the floors, which is not that big of a deal. They ran out right before 3. I plan to go at 1:30, skip thr initial wait, but know they won’t run out

  4. Amie

We did this not to long ago. It is really cute but a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It’s a decent size.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the feedback Amie! Good to know!

Our store is never busy. Maybe 2 or 3 kids. The last one it was 2 other kids in additional to my 2.

I know it’s a free event but I was annoyed that the store didn’t bother to make enough kits. They had tons of Legos but didn’t plan and had to make them on the spot.

Thanks Collin! I will have to tell my daughter so we can bring my granddaughter. Love all the deals you’ve been sharing with us.

This looks like the same Lumiere as last fall. The Lego store also repeated the Disney princess build from last year. If you have the Lego Beauty and the Beast Castle, the Lumiere is tiny and does not include 3 flames. Instead it hard 3 orange dots. I would build it again at TRU for the extra parts.
