Oh I spy Freezer to Plate meals in the one photo. We’ve tried a few of those and they are all very tasty.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Cool! Thanks for sharing! Good to know how yummy they are!

are the nerd toys 99cents as well?!?

    • Jennifer

No. It looks like the sticker says $3.99 or $4.99.

  3. Sue

Looks like the .99 cent store is only in 4 states. None anywhere near me.

I love the .99 cent stores and shop there on a weekly basis. Please note these toys are NOT .99. The toys there usually range from $1.99 a 4.99. They are great deals. I bought lalaloopsy doll houses at Christmas for $4.99. They were 18.99 on Amazon. Stock constantly changes so you need to grab it when you see it. They do not take coupons.

Well, just do your research first. The Rebelle line is being discontinued and a lot of the products get terrible reviews. I bought and returned one of the ones pictured above and purchased another with better reviews instead, only to get burned months later at Christmas, when we discovered the bowstring was dry rotten upon opening it. By that time, reviewer had updated their views on that particular product but it was past the return window for me. Ditto for the ponies, also made by Hasbro. There’s a reason many of these toys end up at dollar stores and Hollar.

Also pay attention at the checkout to see what they ring up as. I’ve had items (food) that I thought was 99 cents (it’s now rounded to a dollar for those who don’t shop there) and it wasn’t marked as $1.99. It usually is marked but just a warning. I do my research first, as suggested, if I see a huge sale on things like this. I go more for the healthy foods I sometimes find there, since they are so high-priced elsewhere.

Thanks for the heads up! Good to know!

I was excited when my dollar tree had super pretzels!

  7. Nina

Yes that’s the thing I find annoying or misleading about these types of stores, when you go in almost everything is marked $1.99 and over. At Dollar tree atleast u know going in, everything’s $1.

  8. Vivian

I scored a bunch of Annie’s cheddar bunnies and 9 ct Annie’s bunnies cookie packages the other day. Also to note their croutons are awesome! I can never over pay for croutons at supermarkets ever again!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great finds Vivian!

This place is amazing if you can go often. Inventory is never the same but pricing on organic items is amazing! I have bought the large containers of organic lettuce and large containers of organic strawberries for $0.99 each! Usually can find Annie’s products always for 99 cents.
