   My Dollar Tree also has sturdy muffin pans (for 6 muffins) that I use for sorting activities and to hold small craft pieces

   I found semi-clear 24×18 mats that mykids use for projects. I don’t know what they are called, but I have had them for many years. My children are now 14, 15 and 20. I keep them with the cookie pans and large cutting boards. I got them at Joann’s and used my half-price coupon for each one. I affectionately call them “splat mats.” When I put four on the table, they nearly cover the entire surface. Great for big projects like gingerbread towns, rolling out “fun dough” for play dough edible cookies (it’s still my favorite thing EVER) and other projects that require a larger surface area. They are not dishwasher safe but clean up easily with a little bit of soap and a sponge or a magic kitchen wand!!

   I use cookie sheets (or even a large cutting board) for measuring stuff like flour & sugar. Keeps the mess contained, rather than getting all over the counter & floor!

   I use cookie sheets on road trips as tables for the kids. Crayons don’t roll off. Walmart has them for 88 cents!

  We use them for road trips too. Work great. We do interstate bingo on long trips and they work great and you can use magnets as markers.

    When using the beads a towel on the countertop also helps. If the beads fall they don’t bounce all over and they stay mostly on the towel

    We love to use cookie sheets when building legs sets as well. It keeps those little pieces from falling on the floor so we no longer have “find the missing piece” adventures!

    Small cookie sheets make great travel trays for road trips! They also fit in the seat back when not in use. Your kids can eat on them, color, or play with cars! I printed out a little town with roads on heavy photo paper. Then I glued magnets to the back. The magnets keep the road map secure on the cookie sheet, and your kids can drive their cars!
