I don’t know if it’s this brand or not, but I have one just like this and I absolutely love it. It always cook the eggs perfectly.

Good to know! I always end up with “zombie” eggs : / You know; half cooked, burst, burned,I have never achieved picture perfect eggs! so this will be ideal my family whom loves hard boiled eggs!

I’m not usually a fan of one-trick pony appliances but this is seriously tempting. I’m terrible at cooking hard-boiled eggs (short attention span), but I saw one of these at Kroger on clearance for $5. I passed because it was baby blue and wouldn’t match my red kitchen.

      • Jennine

I have a short attention span as well 🙂 I cook mine in the oven if I’m doing a dozen or more eggs. If I’m doing just a few I have a small shaped egg dome that boils 4 eggs in the microwave perfectly in 8 min.

Thanks, I did store pickup! My daughter love boiled eggs.

This looks cool! Would be nice especially around the holidays when everyone wants deviled eggs but the stove-top is already full of everything else!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just used an egg cooker this morning, well worth the $. My hard boiled eggs turned out perfectly!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome to hear that Patricia!

Save that $12 and put it toward an Instant Pot. It makes perfect eggs that are super easy to peel every time! And the instant pot will do soo much more. Not to mention the space saving by not having ANOTHER one task appliance taking up valuable real estate in your kitchen….

    • Misty

Hello Shelly, How do you cook your eggs in the instant pot? I just bought one. TY.

  7. Ihearthip

I have a cuisinart version that works good

  8. Jen

why so many gadgets to take over your kitchen when you one need a pot to cook it in 3 minutes. I get good eggs everytime, i put eggs in cold water, after water boils I turn down the heat so water won’t spill out , then after 3 minutes I turn the stove off. Take it out when you are ready to eat! So simple, and doesn’t even need 15 minutes.

Not sure if it’s just our location, but all the candies and snacks and coffee items are ringing up $.50-$1 at staples. I’m talking about $1 per box of 16-18 ct kcups, all brands. $1 for the large office -size candies ( starburst, reeses, lifesavers, etc), boxes of snack size cookies, packages of nuts, lindt and Godiva bag, etc

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great find! Thanks for sharing!
