    I’m confused. AT&T bought out DirecTV…? No??

    • Stephanie

That’s what I thought too! I thought maybe the post reserved T-mobile and AT&T???

    • Julie

Hahaa I was just onlineing to post this! Makes no sense lol

    • Heather C

AT&T bought out DirectTV quite a while ago. Maybe over a year ago?

    • Monkey

Att owns directv and directv now BUT they can’t have a monopoly on the services so other carriers are free to do their own promotion. I bet this is a discount off of T-Mobiles services, not directv services, just like if you have directv and Verizon fios, Verizon offers a small bill credit per month off of their internet.

    This confused me also!

  3. kim

Its DirectTVNOW. I think that is different than the Direct TV Dish.

  4. Roe

Can someone please clear this up… so many of us are confused! Lol

  5. Sarah

It is just T-Mobiles way of getting people to switch carriers. T-Mobile is not selling DirecTV Now. AT&T owns DirecTV. T-Mobile is simply offering a $35 bill credit for customers who have DirecTV Now(because the main package costs $35) because they want customers to port back over or activate new lines.

  6. Sarah

DirecTV and DirecTV Now are both owned by AT&T.

  7. Esme

T-Mobile is offering this so that those tied to Direct TV and AT&T service don’t have to stay and be tied down both ways.

T-Mobile is simply saying that you can have unlimited internet the way it should be without having to subscribe to another product line just to get unlimited data. Current customers who have DirectTV Now and are on any old 6GB plan or higher Stream DirectTV Now for free since it is 1 of over 100 different video streaming apps part of T-Mobiles Binge On!
