DIY Wine Cork Grape Christmas Ornaments
Love wine and looking for a fun holiday craft idea?🍷🍇
Re-purpose wine corks into some easy and cute homemade Christmas ornaments! I made these simple grape cluster ornaments with hot glue, glitter, markers, and ribbon.
What a fun idea to grab some friends, drink wine, and make a few ornaments for yourself or as gifts!
If you don’t have any wine corks, put the word out you’re looking for some and ask friends and family to save them. Wine corks are actually pretty reasonable to purchase in bulk on Amazon as well.
DIY Wine Cork Grape Christmas Ornament
Supplies Needed:
13 Wine Corks
Hot Glue Gun & Hot Glue Sticks
Markers, Paint, or Ink Pad in desired color
Mod Podge & Glitter (optional)
Decorative Ribbon
Directions:
Use a marker, paint, or ink pad to color both ends of wine corks. Hot glue corks into a grape cluster shape. If using glitter, paint the ends with Mod Podge and dust with glitter. Let dry. Attach ribbon to the top using hot glue. Use a piece for the bow and a piece for a loop so ornament can be hung.
Note: I made a couple examples using full size corks, and also some by first cutting the wine corks in half. It’s just your personal preference. If cutting them, no need to measure. It may be a good way to make your corks into twice as many ornaments!
Here’s an example of one I made by using red wine stained corks facing the same direction! I attached some faux leaves and used raffia ribbon for a more rustic look. My mom has a wine themed Christmas tree so I’ll be gifting it to her.
These would make such cute gifts to pair with a bottle of wine! 🍷 And speaking of wine, you can still score 6 Bottles of Wine Shipped to Your Door for Under $36 (Only $5.99 per bottle), plus a FREE Corkscrew!
