      • Becky

I think it is because they are not on sale yet. I just got excited thinking that they released more deals now. I never saw a gift card either.

        • Becky

Found the gift card, onlinees when you get them.

          • t

So you paid how much for one?

    • Jennifer

I was under the impression (based on the fine print) that deals on pages 2-5 were in the preview sale, not page 1.

    • Colleen

Just went to Target today and they now charge 10 cents for plastic bags. The girl said it was new that it went in effect after the elections. I’ll just have to bring in my own reusable bags from now on. I also went to Raleys but no mention of charging for plastic bags. I live in California. Just curious if it applied in other states…

    • Sara

What?? You’d have to pay for plastic bags??? I’m in Missouri but haven’t been to Target in like a week and I don’t pay for bags. Only at Aldi’s.

    • Jennine

I wonder now, If you bring in your own bags if you get 10c off still? I’m ok with the charge of bags. It seems unreasonable at first but it really does cut down on waste. Like when we moved to NH and we had to Pay $3+ for city specific garbage bags. This was crazy upsetting for a couponer who was use to .10 max per bag. However it drastically Made us Want to recycle more since it effected us directly.

    • Erin

In many places, you have to pay for bags. DC, for one, I believe. I don’t think this is countrywide, though, because I was just at Target and I didn’t have to pay for bags. And yes, they still give a five cent bag credit because I went in twice and refused bags the second time and got my credit.

    • julie

I doubt it had anything to do with the election. More likely, it was the date the store decided to implement the charge. Portland, OR target only offers paper (been like that for quite some time). I live in Washington and occasionally shop over there. I want to say they charged you to use one of their bags at one point.. maybe an Oregonian can chime in. It’s a way to discourage the use of plastic bags. Wasteful and bad for the environment. πŸ˜‰ Hth

    • nydia

This sounds like a very California thing πŸ™‚
I take reusable bags with me EVERYWHERE, not just for groceries. It’s amazing how much less waste that one change can save.

    • Monisa

I visited Texas in the summer and they’re a no plastic bags state. Walmart, Target and every store uses paper bags unless you bring your own.

      • Chrissie

        Not true

      • Evan

You must have visited Austin? This is NOT state wide for us but does exist there. I live in the Houston area but travel to Dallas area monthly & still see plastic bags in stores.

        • Dudleymom

I was thinking that same thing as I read that onlinement. Must be an Austin thing. Dallas Ft Worth is plastic bag strong. Cool concept though.

      • Shelby

Yep. Austin. Although I heard Dallas was thinking of going that way too. You get charged 10 cents in Austin for bags also and no plastic anywhere. Only paper bags. We always take our reusable bags everywhere. When we first moved here I thought it was weird that people were carrying their items out in their hands. Then I put two and two together. It’s annoying sometimes.

      • Sandra

Hey, depends on where you are in Texas! I live in Austin and there is a law that says no plastic bags. But, in Houston, plastic bags are legal and still used at stores.

    • Jennifer

This is because during the Election California Voters approved Prop 67 which prohibits grocery and other stores from providing customers single–use plastic or paper carryout bags but permits the sale of recycled paper bags and reusable bags.

    • Jen2

Prop 67 passed in CA banning single use plastic bags. Target gives you $0.05 per reusable bag you bring in to use. I usually carry about three of them since I end up buying other things I had no intention of buying. LOL

      • Cas

Do you get a case of the #endcaps when you go to Target?! Clearance #endcaps get me every time! 😏 I always go in for one thing and onlinee out with 20!

  8. Sarah

I got Lego Dimensions starter pack for $40 – early access Black Friday deal. Woohoo!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome score Sarah!

  9. Mey

  10. Colleen D.

I really really needed the beats active but nothing available around me and no shipping😩. I even tried to get Best Buy to price match but they wouldn’t .

    • JA

Same. I’m really hoping they have enough in store on Black Friday. My UPS guy is notorious for delivering my packages to the wrong house. I’m afraid to order anything from Target.online.😞

  11. Judy

So when is the Apple Watch available online for &199?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Judy! All advertised prices will be valid from November 24th-26th.

      • Michelle

Will the target Black Friday deals be available in store and online nov 24-26? There are a few things I want to try and get but don’t want to go to stores on thanksgiving

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Michelle! If like last year, you should be able to find some great deals online as well. Be sure to check back! πŸ˜‰

  12. Jacki

I am looking for a good digital camera with wifi. Any reonlinemendations?

  13. Kristy

  19. Sheila Joslin

  20. Melinda

I don’t see anything in their ad-but will Target be offering the “spend x amount of money and get a x% coupon valid on another day” like they did last year? Also, what was the date that they are offering 10% off gift cards?

  21. Mary

    Hey Collin,
Do you know if the $50 off of $100 holiday purchase on Saturday is for online too, or is it just in-store?
