I am usually a huge fan of Olive Garden, and an even bigger fan of endless pasta. I eagerly wait for its arrival each year. However, this year I am very disappointed. My daughter and I went to your Columbia, MO location last night, of course for endless pasta. We were excited for the endless pasta to return — until we received our order. Our original order came to our table in two small bowls, the refill bowls from last year. I thought they had our order wrong until I asked a waitress. She verified this was the right order for the initial serving, after all, it is endless pasta. So, now you have to eat two refill bowls to get the initial serving that you received last year. Then you get to sit and wait and fill up on salad and/or breadsticks and drinks between refills, I’m sure in hopes you will eat less pasta, and when we could have eaten and been out of there in an hour or a little over, were were there for nearly two hours. This makes no sense for a couple reasons. First of all, you (and the rest of the eat in dining onlinemunity) onlineplain people aren’t revolving fast enough because they spend too much time on their cell phones, and second, pasta has to be cheaper than salad and breadsticks (onlinee on, Angel Hair pasta is $1.99 for two pounds at Walmart). This is all a huge play to get us to pay more and receive less for our money. I am very disappointed in your psychological play with your customers. Disappointed enough that I’m not even sure I will be back before the endless pasta ends, which is very sad because I know last year we spent at least 4 nights a week at Olive Garden during this promotion.
