   I once had a gap gift card and they wouldn’t let me onlinebine it with a 40% off offer. Does anyone know if they still have this policy? (is so, gift cards to them are not worth it).

  Was this online or in store? I’m always able to use both online. A gift card is as good as cash.

  I was able to use the gift card without a problem with there regular store promotions. However if it is a promotion that requires your gapcard in order to receive discounts -that may be different.

  It was probably a discount code that required the use of a gap card. I’ve run into that before, although lately most of their promos have been for non cardholder use also.

  As long as you use the Gap CC to pay SOME of the balance, it should work.
