I just wanted to let you and the readers know that saving up Pampers Rewards points to get a big prize is possible. We are not strictly a Pampers household, in fact, we buy whatever brand diapers are on sale with coupons.

So, with that in mind, I started saving Pampers Rewards codes SEVEN years ago when my first daughter was born. I’ve been entering in codes from diaper & wipes packages (when I remember!) as well as extra codes that Collin posts. Fast forward 7 years and a total of 4 daughters later, and we finally saved up 6,000 points! We were able to redeem the points for a PlasmaCar! My girls were so excited to get a big package in the mail for them, and between the four girls, it will be put to good use.

I know that 7 years is a long time, but all these little points add up and it was a good lesson to my girls (and me!) about saving up and being patient. Thanks for all the Pampers codes along the way, Collin!

My oldest is just 2.5 but we have almost exclusively used Pampers diapers and wipes with him and our newborn and I’m at 9300 points! I am hoping they had some more big ticket items soon, or I’ll just hold out for the wagon.

I got 2 of these about 6 months ago with my pampers rewards for my 5 and 2 yr old. They love them!!! Especially the 2 yr old.

I love this! We got a sound machine for my baby girl 5 years ago with our points and she still goes to sleep with it!!! Best freebie ever 🙂

Same here! Cashed in for the kitchen set and they have me my points back. I’m still collecting points but my daughter is special needs and can’t ride on a plasma car.

A few years back I traded in my points for that little ladybug tricycle. We gave it to my daughter for her birthday. side note I contacted huggies about my points that I could not enter the last days because the site was overwhelmed. They sent me an email, letting me reply with all of my unentered codes. If you have any codes left, you might want to try that.

Funny, I just got my pampers reward delivered today! I cashed in like 3600 points for a step 2 water table! That was the second time I cashed in since starting to buy diapers 7 years ago as well. My youngest is about to be potty trained so I figured nows the time! And I was super impressed with the 2 day shipping!

Hmm not sure if this is a “deal” since it took 7 years and 4 daughters to get a $50 car. Seems very little to have that kind of brand loyalty.

I agree with you, Mia. I don’t consider the end payoff worth the time and brand loyalty that was put in. These programs are like Chuck E Cheese and Dave & Busters. Spend $100 in games to be able to redeem tickets for a dollar store toy at best.

I just do not find these programs worthwhile at all and this story confirmed that further for me. I can get a gently used plasma car on Craigslist right now for $20. No entering codes, no strict brand loyalty, and the freedom to purchase different brands of diapers at best pricing when they are on sale/coupons are available which equates to consistently better savings.

I honestly think the two main diaper brands need to step up their loyalty programs to be more worthwhile for parents. I throw my codes away.

I don’t think you get it. you DON’T have to be brand loyal. I buy whatever gives me the BEST deal. and I still ended up with tons of points. enter codes when you are waiting for something, example: dr. office, etc… just an idea.

nobody took away her ‘freedom to purchase’ and made her buy something different from what she wanted. you seem to have read a different article.
in this case, she saved her $20 and got a NEW one instead of having to scour Craigslist, and her children enjoyed receiving a big, special package.

I got a water table as well for collecting 2 years of points and a few nice gifts for being active every month. A wooden music set by melissa and doug and also a smart tablet toy. And tons of shutterfly codes with free shipping. Keep checking in every month. The rewards are worth it. We ordered our water table during dec and used it as a Christmas gift.

I love pampers rewards! My son is two and we have cashed out for the kitchen, puzzles, and the fireman dress up outfit. We are a pampers exclusive household, but with all the extras Collin posts and rewards every 3 months for consistently entering codes, they add up fairly quick!! Way to go mama! They will love the plasma car! 🙂

I only have 1 in diapers and have only been saving for 2 years. I redeemed 2,500 points for a $10 gift card and I’m currently at 5,600. It pays off to only enter one diaper or wipes code per month (saves me from spending extra money on a last minute product just to get my code entered) and redeem your gifts to grow redeem for points.

This story totally confirms that these point programs are so not worth it. The minutes wasted entering those codes over that 7 year period probably adds up to a lot of time wasted, which if you added a monitary value to that, you’ve wasted a lot of money on time. 7 years for a $50 push car?

Do you ever have time you waste? in a Dr. office, sitting, watching TV during onlinemercial, I bet you waste time every single day. it takes very little time to enter codes. its your loss if you don’t want to take the time. teach your kids to do it, then you don’t have to.

Free toy is a free toy. Entering codes takes minutes and you can do it while sitting in a waiting room somewhere. It might not be worth it for some, but then I am wonder, how did these folks ended up on a money saving blog… Every penny counts and these kids are loving their NEW plasma car

I agree it only takes a couple of minutes to enter the codes. And if you choose points instead of the free gift to grow gift every 3 months you earn an extra 1000 free points per year. I average close to 100 free points in from codes posted on hip2save every month as well.

How awesome! My girls have one, and it is also from Pampers Rewards. 😀 It took me 5 years or so! All the kids love to ride on it when they onlinee over. Even the adults hop on on occasion. lol Enjoy the new ride! 🙂

I think these programs are just a bonus to something that we already buy. I’ve been “loyal” to Huggies but that’s because I like their diapers the best. Ive redeemed points for gift cards, toys and more diapers. If I’m not able to enter a code right after using up the pack of diapers I take a picture of it on my phone and enter them in when I have time.

Great job! I don’t consider entering rewards code a waste of time. The thought of entering codes might be intimidating to many. They are totally worth it. With only one child, I have been able to grab lots of cool stuff worth lesser points like the Melissa & Doug chunky puzzle, Alex bath toys, potty chair, onlinepletely free photobook/photocards/address labels from shutterfly (with free shipping). Tossing away points is actually tossing away money. What I have found totally useless and waste of time is browsing social media websites. I have realized its easy to spend 30-45 minutes on these sites daily without achieving anythnig. So instead of hanging around on FB and Twitter, I spend my time on Ibotta, Checkout 21 and other rewards sites.

This sounds similar to my family. My oldest was born in February of 2009 and I’m due with our third and final baby in three weeks. I’ve saved all the points and I’m hoping to get a larger prize for everyone to enjoy. I’m not a strictly Pampers shopper either, Huggies work best for my kids 🙂
