Heads up! If you signed up to receive a FREE bag of BBQ Lay’s Chips and received your coupon in the mail recently, you may have noticed that it had an expiration date of June 12th…which means it’s expired. 🙁 With that being said, it appears that Frito-Lay is aware of the issue and is willing to send out new, unexpired coupons whenever you call 1-800-352-4477 or send them an email.

I just called and pressed 6 as requested. A message stated that with in a few weeks everyone who received an expired coupon will receive a NEW coupon with abundant time to redeem. Hope this helps.

I WENT AHEAD AND CALLED TOO JUST IN CASE MY EMAIL DOES NOT GET TO THEM AND I PUSHED 6 ALSO AND GOT THE SAME MESSAGE AS LENNY DID . EVERYONE WILL RECIEVE A COUPON WHO RECIEVED THE EXPIRED ONE.

I received an expired coupon. I sent an email and they responded pretty quickly saying they’d send a new one.

The phone number is to a recording that apologizes for the error and states that a new one is being mailed out. I would assume that everyone who received one will be getting another one without having to Contact Frito-Lay. Maybe even those who were able to use it will be lucky enough to get another one. Wal-Mart has these bags at their registers if you’re wondering where to find them.

I submitted! Just received mine today 06/16/16! Expired on 06/12/16! We’ll see if they get back with me! I put my Coupon Serial Number on it! For verification purposes!

FAQ page says the following:

Q. I received my coupon today for a free bag of Lay’s BBQ as part of the Facebook promotion but expired before I received it. How do I get a replacement?

A. Due to an unforeseen delay in mail processing, some Lay’s fans received expired coupons for a free 2 oz bag of Lay’s BBQ potato chips. All affected consumers will be automatically mailed a replacement coupon to the mailing address on file. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

If you go to Frito lay website it says coupons will he automatically sent out to affected customers. Don’t need to do anything.

interesting glitch, I thought it was just me that got the bad coupon. I went on Google and typed in “outdated coupon from Frito-Lay” and this website was top on the list.
Nice to see they’re sending out replacements, I didn’t even recall asking for a “free bag”. What pormotion did this onlinee from if anyone remembers?

I never received a coupon, nor did I write the onlinepany – But I did just receive and email from Lay’s saying:

Hello and thank you for participating in the Lay’s BBQ coupon offer which was part of a Facebook promotion. Due to an unforeseen delay in the mail processing, some Lay’s fans received expired coupons. All affected consumers will be automatically mailed a replacement coupon to the mailing address on file and it will arrive within a few weeks. You will have plenty of time to redeem the coupon and enjoy Lay’s BBQ or the Lay’s flavor of your choice.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
