Ouch! I bought this onlineputer 2 days ago for $799…Should I return it and buy another? or would I get a refund if I go back and ask?

    • Laura

did you buy at Best Buy? If so, they will adjust the price

  2. Leo A.

    I meant to say $899.00.

    • Holly

Call best buy customer service. They will process adjust for 15 days.

      • Leo A.

Thanks Holly. I was thinking of going there in person.

  3. Leo A.

Yes. I bought it at Best buy. Great!! Thank you, Laura.

Does anyone know how this onlinepares to typical Black Friday deals? We were going to buy a MacBook on Black Friday, but we will but today if it is onlineparable. 😀

    • Laura

Are you looking for a macbook air or pro. They are entirely 2 different products. Pro – is a much better product. But more expensive.

      • Jocelyn

Oh, I had no idea. I guess I need to do some research. 😀 We don’t use our laptop much currently, but I will be going back to school, and I have one that will be in middle school next year, so I am assuming that will change soon. Thank you for your feedback! 😀

        • Laura

Do you have an apple store near you? That’s you’re best bet for an education. I know Best Buy sells them, I’m not fond of their advise.

          • Jocelyn

We do have an Apple Store near us. I will have to speak to someone. Thank you for your guidance! 😀😀

            • Laura

Heads up! If you can, go on a weekday. Never on a weekend – unless it’s right when they open. It’s a crazy busy place.

            • Shopper

It’s always crazy, no matter what day.

  5. Amy

Anyone know if the software is included (Microsoft, etc.) or is that extra? If extra, how to you add this? I’ve been eyeing this for a while. TIA!

    • Laura

Microsoft is a PC product. So no on that. You do however get pages, keynote, and numbers free of charge.

    • Leo A.

Microsoft Office you have to buy separately.

      • Laura

You can – but personally, I wouldn’t. Leave the PC products to the PC onlineputers. If you’re going to get an Apple then learn the product. They offer classes if you don’t have anyone to show you.

    • @~~>~~

Yes you can but you will need to buy it..once you purchase the Microsoft bundle which incl word excel etc…you can share it onto a few different onlineputers. We did that about seven months ago…we bought a MacBook Pro, and only downloaded Microsoft bundle on that onlineputer. Recently we purchased a toshibo laptop and will download that same bundle onto it.

    • @~~>~~

You buy it online and set up a username and password and download it onto the onlineputer of choice.

    it says link not found

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer 🙁 I am still seeing it when I click through the links above. Are you on a mobile device?

  7. candie

if you have a college student the university may offer free software

also my daughter has a MacBook pro. she loves it, but I was very disappointed in how long “it didn’t last.” Last Thanksgiving we spent 5 days at the local apple store. they pretty much replaced everything on the onlineputer. thank goodness we bought the apple care – gave it a full warranty for two years beyond normal warranty. after five days of frustration, they finally gave her a brand new onlineputer. personally I don’t think they are worth the money. she bought hers with an award she received in high school.

    • Laura

Sorry to hear that. We have 3. Have for many years. No problems what so ever. We will NEVER go back to the PC world.

      • Jamie

I’m with Laura. We’ve had the same MacBook for almost 8 years and it works just like it did day 1

    • Daphne

Sorry you had problems Candie! I’ve had my MacBook for 6 years now and the only issue I had was the battery wouldn’t keep a charge. Just had to replace the battery and it’s good as new 🙂
