On a side note, I just ran The Color Run Race in Boise this past weekend along with my hubby and kiddos (ages 7-13), my sister, Bryn and her family, and my good friend Erica and her family. We had such a great time – this race is extremely family-friendly and geared for all ages – there were families with strollers, teenagers, grandparents, college students etc. My kids especially loved the after-party – they had a great time dancing to the music and participating in the color throws (and loved throwing paint directly on their mom! 😉 ). One word of advice – bring towels with you so that the interior of your car does not look like a giant rainbow. And plan on scrubbing colors out of your ears, nose, scalp, toes etc.![/h2s_box]
If you have never participated in The Color Run, I highly encourage you to check it out and see if a race is onlineing to a city near you.
