Are you spending money on pricey makeup removers?

Makeup remover is something many of us use, but you shouldn’t have to spend a ton of money on it every month or two. Why not make your own?! It’s actually easier than you’d think! 🙌

This DIY makeup remover recipe uses just 3 ingredients that you might already have at home! It’s a far less expensive option for how much makeup remover it can make. And the best part? It really does work—tried and true!

This DIY makeup remover really does get the job done!

I tested out my homemade makeup remover on foundation, a hot pink lip stain, and a dark brown eyeliner. After 2 swipes, my skin was makeup-free!

It’s also nice to know EXACTLY what’s in your beauty products so you don’t use something that could irritate your skin. Almond oil is full of Vitamin E, but it won’t leave you feeling greasy like other products do. And considering I have leftover ingredients, I’m set with DIY makeup remover supplies for a while!

Cool!! Thank you!! Will it remove stay on lip makeup?

It might require a little more rubbing to get off! It has worked well on my lip stain, but results could vary with a different product.

Being stuck at home, I needed an eye makeup remover quick. Found olive oil works fantastic. Used to use coconut oil but ran out so now there are two options. I wear heavy black eye makeup and it takes it all off so gently.

Yay! Glad it gets the job done for you. Taking off mascara and eyeliner at the end of the day can be a chore sometimes lol!

I’ve always used straight olive oil for makeup removal and moisturizing

Olive oil is awesome for so many different things! It’s been my go-to hair mask lately😄

I love oil as a makeup remover. I alternate between a few oils I’ve tried from Plant Therapy (Camelia seed and Rosehip are my favorite) My skin has been so dry because my salty tears from allergy eyes have been wreaking havoc with my skin. The oils are the only moisturizer I have found to relieve it

Good to know! I’m eager to try those ones!❤️

    Baby oil works great!!

I use baby shampoo straight from the bottle and a cotton ball to remove eye makeup, learned about it many years ago and haven’t used anything else since. No need to mix anything, I put mine in a small pump bottle that used to have lotion in it. One small pump on my cotton ball for each eye. (Before that I used baby oil, but this seems to work better)
