   I use the slack hanger. Have a couple hanging in my closet. Instead of looping the scarves around, I have them folded over (more like slacks). They are much sturdier than your typical plastic hanger. I was even fortunate enough to find both of mine at my local Goodwill for $1 each!

   I use hat boxes. I don’t have room to hang them. I don’t even have room to hang all my clothes lol!

  I use hat boxes too. I live in a warm climate, and find during the heat/humidity of our summers I don’t wear scarves. I do the rest of the year.

   Currently I use the IKEA one. I will have to try the shower curtain hanger idea. As I have more than the IKEA one can hold lol.

  Mine uses the slack hanger for ties, but he doesn’t wear often or have many. I’ve also seen them rolled up individually and neatly fit in drawers with paper cups cut in half as dividers.

   i own more scarves then i can possibly count.. i have 4 of those ikea hangers and some of them have more then 1 scarf on each look 😉 lol

   I would for sure duct tape the rings in place. I did the first idea and all my scarves slid to one end. I am getting out some tape right now. I also did a similar idea with tank tops and camis

  The shower rings on the hangars works best with the felt covered hangars. I use this technique for hanging up my layering camis. The plastic shower rings do not slide as much on the felt hangars and i rarely have the “falling to one end” issue. No duct tape needed! 🙂

    I probably have 50 scarves, between winter scarves & “fashionable scarves”, as I call them. I bought two different men’s tie racks, one from Target and one from Walmart. They are different but both work very well. I have a rack with all the circles, similar to the Ikea rack that is pictured. It can’t hold the weight of more than a couple of scarves, without buckling. The shower curtain rings on the hangers don’t work for me either. I used that idea to hang up baseball caps. The rings aren’t secure so they fall to one side of the hanger, causing the entire thing to lean.

  I had that problem with the ikea one when hanging on a rod so I hung it on the back of the door it helped support it plus I can see all the scarves better

    i got cheap hooks and put them along the back wall of my closet for my scarves since i had a little space between my clothes and the wall.

    I’ve been using the first idea. I had problems with all my scarves going to one side as well. I switched out a regular hanger for one that came with a bridesmaid dress. It’s basically a regular hanger except the bar is flat and covered in a spongy foam. Everything pretty much stays in place now 🙂

    I have way to many tank tops. If I hang them on hangers it takes up to much space so I found a tie rack at Walmart and I can hang 12 tanks in a smaller space. I love organization and space saving ideas!!!

    I hung an inexpensive cafe curtain rod on my closet wall and use the shower rings to hang my scarves on the rod. It’s flush against the wall and I can see each scarf! It’s perfect!

    Don’t care for the last idea. If you tie/knot the scarves, they onlinee out with creases when you want to use them.

    I was looking for better scarf organization ideas than the way I organize mine, but most of these ideas involve knotting or creasing one’s scarves. Many of my scarves are silk and rayon, and I don’t like the creases in them, so I hang mine flat on the fuzzy hangers (for silk) or the cardboard tube hangers from the dry cleaner (for all the others), but many doubled up. Since we turned our smallest bedroom into a closet, I have room for this system, but I still have to search through the hangers to find the appropriate scarf for my outfit. But I should not onlineplain: I have the room, and I have over 50 scarves, I think.

    I have more scarves than the law allows! I found a ladder about 5 1/2 ft tall at a craft store. The rungs are rounded and it has a shabby chic look. It leans up against a wall in my bedroom with all my scarves hanging over the rungs. Not only does it keep them in front of me as a reminder to accent my outfits, but also adds an interesting colorful touch for my room!
