im hoping those get applied to the account automatically and without a hitch, best buy can be titchy….

    • Kelly

Does it say or does anyone know when those points will be posted to accounts? I’ve interacted with the app many times during the promo period and made at least 2 purchases over $10 and haven’t seen it posted to my account yet. I agree with zoe…Best Buy is twitchy. 🙁

      • Elizabeth

i made a purchase of $1400 n it pending total point 1900 for 30 days it will b in my account

I made my purchase on the first day that it was available and the 500 did not show up. I had to call customer service about the annual points that were deducted from my account in error and asked how/when these points would be applied. She said they would not show up anywhere (pending or otherwise) for 20 days from the date of purchase…but when I go to my account now they are showing as pending 🙂 I’m hoping to have them before 4/15 to buy my niece Toy Story 3 for her birthday!

Can this purchase be for anything online or for certain items? When you click on “shop now” it takes you to a list of deals. Wasn’t sure if you had to order one of those items.

    • Lynn

It can be for anything online or in-store as long as you use your Rewards Zone member number at checkout. You also have had to interact with the Rewards Zone Facebook app at some point to be eligible for the points.

  4. Nh

I have 2 Best Buy rewards certificates. Does anyone know if I can use those to make my out of pocket cost less or does it still have to be $10 after the reward certificates?

    • Ger

Your purchase still has to be $10 or more after any Qs or rewards certificates HTH.

  5. KAZ

Reading post to see if I need to do anything beside “voting” and making a purchase. Hope it show’s up. I’ll be back to keep up to see if it works for other people.

    • Bob

Hi Kaz, I have also voted on the Best Buy Reward Zone app and recently made a purchase..the points for the purchase and the extra 500 are showing up as ‘pending’ under my Reward Zone account. I didn’t do anything different. HTH. 🙂

Does anybody know if you can pay with a gift card?

    • Kidsallgone

i didn’t want to take a chance. I had a couple I could have used. I just put several small items in my cart like pens, post-it notes, tape, etc and it came to $10.93. I’m picking it up at the store so if I find out that I can use my gift cards towards it, I will do that then. I wish it was made clear about being able to use a gift card. I looked all over their website but didn’t find out. But all is well. I’ll pay about $11 and get $10 back in rewards 🙂 🙂 🙂
      Thanks for the reminder Collin!

  7. Kelley

I bought an iTunes card. Hoping it doesn’t exclude that. Anyone know?

    • Kristen

I am hoping to do the same. I don’t have the address anymore but I found fine print of rules on their website that said itunes gift cards were okay for this promo. 🙂

  8. Elizabeth

Ive made two purchases over $10 but one had bonus points involved so Im sure that one won’t count. The other one we used Best Buy GCs from Christmas and it hasnt shown up in my account as pending yet (for the actual purchase or the bonus points)

  9. Jenn

I made a purchase of $25 and used $15 in rewards. The other $10 I paid with a Best Buy e-gift certificate. It’s showing up in my account as Pending $0.00. Is that correct? Would I have needed to pay cash?

  10. Priscilla

Don’t understand if iTunes cards could really work with this since the thing on Facebook says ‘Members who interact with this app by March 23 get 500 points on one qualifying transaction over $10. Online & in-store. Excludes Gift Card purchase’

Wouldn’t an iTunes card be a gift card purchase?
